We’ve just arrived home after a stay at the Bryn Goleu. Wendy made us feel so welcome when we arrived on Monday afternoon. She gave us tips and guides of where to eat and places to visit. The location is perfect as you’re not in the midst of the hustle and bustle. A quiet setting surrounded by fields. Perfect for walking and taking in the breathtaking views. We stayed in the ‘Jade’ suite. Outside is the decked area, ideal to sit out on an evening. The room, spotlessly clean, big comfy bed and amazing on suite. Downstairs to the breakfast area, where you have a choice of cereal and a cracking home cooked breakfast. The views from the gardens are amazing. 10 minute walk to the sea front. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and if you like a drink, less than £5 back in a cab! We’re definitely going back next year! Highly highly recommended. Thanks again Wendy and John for a lovely stay. See you in 2021. …
Recently returned from this amazing B&B tucked away in the hills of Llandudno. We’ve always stayed in hotels but never again- we’ve found our new go- to place ! A steep climb up to it but a lovely warm welcome awaits you. Wendy & John are the perfect hosts. The suite was immaculate and the bed was so soft- an excellent nights sleep was guaranteed! The bathroom is absolutely beautiful with complimentary shower gel & shampoo supplied. The towels were so thick & soft and were beautifully arranged in a basket. As for breakfast - it was exquisite ! I sampled the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs one morning and it was the nicest I had ever had. A hearty full English was also available and it was delicious. John very kindly drove us down to the seafront on one evening as we went for dinner which was very much appreciated and on our return from a cold day out we found he had lit the fabulous log burner for us - what a treat ! Wendy is a superb host and gave us lots of ideas on best places to visit and things to see. Can’t recommend this place enough- we will certainly be back . Just go there ! Cath & Gary…
We stayed in Bryn Goleu for 3 nights . Wendy and John were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. There was a problem with the internet when we arrived, Wendy called her son and he came over and fixed it immediately. There is a sea view and the accommodation is looked after, spotless clean and modern decor. Breakfast is super. Wendy asked us what we wanted the evening before. We chose cereal it came with fresh fruits , yoghurt and toast . There was tea and coffee facility’s and the hot chocolate and biscuit was welcome after being out in the storm . It is walkable down to the front if you have strong legs . We managed it .
This is one of those places I am reluctant to say how lovely it is because it’ll all be booked up next time we want to go! But that wouldn’t be fair to Wendy and John who are super friendly, warm and welcoming and are ,rightly so, very proud of their beautiful home and peaceful surroundings. We stayed in the Spiral room, beautiful views down to the sea, you have a lovely lounge area with log burner and a dining table where your delicious breakfast is served privately. Up the spiral staircase is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, more gorgeous views and a superb shower room, a great shower and all immaculate, no Covid concerns here and Wendy has very high standards and goes the extra mile. Highly recommend
A lovely B&B on the outskirts of Llandudno. Lovely hosts. A very comfortable room with a fabulous balcony. Tea and coffee making facilities. A very nice shower room. Fabulous breakfasts! All cooked fresh to order. You will need a vehicle to get out and about as the hotel is not within walking distance of amenities. But a small price to pay to stay in what I would describe as a home from home. A lovely midweek break was had.
