Our stays at The Empire stretch back over an unbroken thirty years so we have a pretty good feel for the place. It would seem an impossible ask for a hotel to "get it right" every time over so many years, but somehow The Empire seem to have managed it. If you welcome the idea of being part of a...

We have stayed here with various family members during the last 19 years, this was the largest gathering yet, 8 rooms, 13 people aged from 20 to 87. It was a 60th birthday celebration in the best hotel in Llandudno, the rooms, fantastic food, wonderful staff as always, we all had such a good time, the Saturday night disco was...

Stayed here on business and very very comfortable. Food is superb and the whole cost is cheap by comparison. Staff are exceptional. Rooms are very quanit and very comfortable. Despite the hotel being 160 years old the bathrooms are very modern. will always look to stay here in the future.

Been enjoying stays at the Empire since 1984. Even some of the staff remain from those days! Always come away satisfied and looking forward to the next stay. Just felt this time around some little niggles left me not awarding the full 5 stars. Usually stay in Number 72 (adjoining Victorian Town House) and walk to the main hotel for...

Stayed here for one night, we had a superior room which was at the back of the hotel so it was quiet. Had all the trimmings for a superior room, decanter of sherry, homemade shortbread biscuits, fridge. Very comfy bed, not a huge bathroom but couldn't fault it. Have not stayed here before but have eaten in the Ruskins restaurant...

Last week we spent 3 nights at the Empire for my 50th Birthday, I spent Monday afternoon in the Spa being soooooo pampered, nothing is to much for the staff at the hotel, spa and restaurant. The food was excellent especially the fillet steak, cooked perfectly and it just melted in my mouth, the smoked salmon was to die for....
