Warm welcome, helped with luggage. Small room but big bathroom with bath and shower, room to store toiletries. Cleaned well, fresh towels and refreshment tray replenished daily. Very good breakfast (optional), evening meal (optional), we didn't try that. Bar staff friendly, drinks inexpensive. Entertainment provided in the evenings (didn't try that). Close to main high street and shops. Close to...

The hotel is in a good location right next to Llandudno Pier. However, parking is very restricted having to rely upon spaces in nearby streets and/or carparks. The staff were polite and helpful but the hotel needs updating. Décor in poor state. Room was small but was clean and bed comfortable. Heating control on shower was either scalding hot or...

Dilapidated building. Old fashioned and worn decor. Wallpaper peeling in the room and our view was a brick wall and scaffolding! Service was average and our name was incorrect in the guest information pack.

Bought a 2 night dinner, bed and breakfast break for £95 per person from Superbreak, so we weren't expecting much but unfortunately felt quite disappointed. The building is in desperate need of a refurb, inside and out. The restaurant felt like a school cafeteria, with quality of food to match - very limited choices too. Very cheesy evening entertainment, and...

Oh what a disappointment. Great location, ok from the outside and you might even like the grand entrance, but it definitely ends there. Horrible small room, worn ugly furniture. Hard bed with jumping springs. Spiders, the toilet was not correctly installed, and was unstable. The floor was creaking horribly so you heard every step anyone took. The walls paper thin....

Stayed for 4 nights on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. We had a sea view room with balcony, worth the extra for an extraordinary view. It was so peaceful to open the balcony door and enjoy the night time vista of the bay lit up. The room was large, but had seen better day, could do with a re-furb....

This hotel seems tired.Seems weary. In need of a re-vamp.It is an amazing old building and has stood a heck of a lot from the sea and weather over decades. An imposing pile overlooking LLandudno Pier.We went there for a bar meal. The LARGE lounge area is a BIG function room and is from another age.It has a faded charm. We had coffee on...

What a magnificent property coupled with astounding inefficiency of the staff!! We checked in on June 12, 2015 and right from the check in to check out on June 15, nothing went as per expectations. No courtesy, no hospitality and unique illustration of indifference. We had booked 1 family room and 1 premier sea view room. Shockingly, the lady at...

Just returned from a 5 day trip to the grand with a coach firm. Had read all reviews and was expecting the worst. What I can say is all the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the hotel really does need a complete overall and a good clean. Bedding and towels were adequate, shower in danger of coming of...
