Booked last minute deal as no where else available, arrived hotel is situated in a great Location but upon arrival, there is no parking facilities. Check in was ok but room was located outside the lift on 4th floor noisy all night with 2 kids, rooms were old and dated, this hotel is badly in need of a refurbishment, we...

Should have seen room before we paid - wouldn't have stayed. Paper falling off ceiling. No parking facilities. They managed to ruin what should have been good food. Plumbing laughable and customer service almost non-existent. Didn't know such poor coffee existed. In its day (when Queen Victoria was alive) it would have been stunning but well past its sell-by date.

This is a true story from today, Sat 6th June 2015. Booked a twin room with sea view for myself and elderly family member (83 years young) on Fri 5th June, even requested good access to room. Drove 3hrs from home on Saturday and arrived in town 3pm, very busy so car parking not easy. Paid car parking, went to...

A lovely Victorian imposing building on the edge of the pier overlooking the sea..... sounds idyllic, Unfortunatley in reality this not the case, a very dated run down hotel that is in no way deserving of its name. Dusty rooms, terrible uncomfortable springy beds, ill fitting windows, no heating on and dirty bathroom, the outside is delapidated, paintwork crumbling and...

The 4 night stay at The Grand Hotel was planned for my friend's birthday, so we were anticipating a really good time, but were sadly let down. The reception were efficient with room pass collection. On entering my room, I noticed a strong smell of bleach, so opened the window, flushed the toilet and started to unpack. However, the smell...

We have stayed at this hotel many many times and although we never pay full price( as we book the next stay before we leave and we are also in the rewards scheme) we find we always get good value for the money we have paid. All the staff are friendly and polite and Tracey is doing a grand job...
