Had bought a Groupon voucher for two days half board. We were quite pleased with the reception staff whose computer had gone down so were given free coffee from bar till rooms could be allocated. We were amazed to discover that not only did we have a sea view, dinner buffet, we also got free entertainment. There was a quiz...

We stayed at The Grand Hotel, Llandudno for a short break, enjoying substantial breakfasts and superb evening meals. The only problem was choosing what to eat out of the choices offered, all looked delicious! Would definitely be happy to return.

Stayed here at the weekend, we got a sea view for £30.00 extra per night. My hubby had a burger for lunch at £12.00 rather extortionate, the chips were very poor and we told the waiter who looked at us like we were from the moon. Later they did knock £3.00 off the bill . Breakfast was pleasant and we...

When searching for hotels on TripAdvisor, be aware that once you ask for a room with children, the search tool often removes perfectly viable options. For example, a large double room for a couple can be used by a family of 3 if a smaller bed/sofa was added to the room. How I wish I had remembered this when booking...

I don't normally like to leave negative reviews but having sent two letters of complaint and still no reply I feel justified in doing so! We booked a family room for two nights in the February half term holiday as a treat for our son. On arrival we were dismayed to find the room in a completely unacceptable state. The...

When we read some of the reviews, we were a bit hesitant, but de cided to take the risk as we had a good deal price wise. The room could use a lick of paint, but it was spotlessly clean and a good size. Unexpectedly we also had a little balcony with splendid views across the bay. Food was plentiful...

Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and each time I come away having had a good time. The nightly entertainment has always been very enjoyable with a mixture of types of entertainment. The staff have always been extremely polite and very helpful. They are very efficient. Whilst the decor of the hotel is a little tired it is...

This hotel has a great location, ambience and our room (family 3bed) was a decent size although it was stifling hot, but we managed to prise open the balcony door so didn't affect us too much. The staff tried hard although seemed down trodden, like they were fighting a losing battle, also majorly understaffed in the restaurant. The entertainment was...
