Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. But even worthy of 1 rating. Only on road parking, which is ok but not many spaces for such a large hotel. Asked about a car park close by, told not to park there by a member of staff as it could get vandalised! Also told to be careful walking opposite... More

Went for a 2 night stay, included was breakfast and 1 3 course evening meal. Evening meal was not too good, but breakfast was ok, could have cereals and toast and jam. The cooked food was not too good. Staff very friendly, room was adequate. Would go again. Llandudno is very nice, clean and lovely buildings

We booked a Twixmas break hoping to get away from turkey and Christmas pudding but the first evening meal was turkey etc- bad, unimaginative menu planning in my estimation. Soup was the only starter. Two choices of main, roast or fish and what was typical of the 60s . everything was overcooked. There was a side of fish on the buffet such... More

We had read some bad reviews about the grand so were a bit worried about our stay but couldnt of been more wrong. The staff were all lovely, polite and professional and the building was beautiful, well decorated and maintained, outside needs a bit of re-decorating as is a bit warn but it is located directly on the beach open... We were booked in for our annual twixmas visit ( been going for 12 years 3 times a year ) to the grand and due to the bad weather forecast we tried to book in to go on Boxing day so hoping to go a day earlier, we telephoned the Hotel and the booking centre and we could only get... More

We went last year for the first time so we thought we would try it again and were not disappointed. The hotel goes all out to make sure you enjoy your stay and the staff are ready to help with any requests that they can help with. I will add this time of the year is catered for the older... More

The Grand Hotel is a very large, imposing hotel dating back to 1902. It is located at the end of the bay adjacent to the pier and close to the Great Orme (a fascinating area including the feral Kashmir goats that belong to HM The Queen). Having read some awful reviews I arrived with some trepidation. I need not have... More

Okay the decor inside is dated, all it needs is a neutral colour scheme and dark carpets, magnolia and satin wood on wood work would really bring out the beauty of the building. A really historical building with fantastic views, the rooms were very clean and the bedding and beds them selves are spot on. The shower was a bit... More

We arrived thinking it would be grand. It wasn't needs a full refurbishment. Was rather run down. Just gave off terrible atmosphere and ended up leaving and not staying at all. Didn't complain as the staff couldn't of done anything about the appearance of the place. Won't be visiting again
