Just recently returned from a 2 night stay at Agar House. Myself & partner were visiting Wales for a family fun weekend with our 2 children. We booked a family room and upon arrival we were greeted by the most lovely, attentive and all round lovely owners Betty & Ian. After a warm and welcoming chat we headed for our room. The cleanliness of Agar was second to none, including all precautionary measures implemented throughout the property inline with covid guidance. Both nights of our stay we slept great. The rooms were also fully equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed a full English breakfast the next morning (pre ordered the night before) the quality of food was excellent, our son took a particular liking to the hash browns lol. As mentioned Betty & Ian were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble, even going the extra mile of opening the kitchen early to ensure we were packed up with bacon sandwiches before our trek up Mount Snowdon. This place really is a little gem and we will most definitely be returning. …
Excellent location, very short walk into town. Nice clean room, loads of tea and coffee in room and excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Was worried about staying away with Covid-19 but it is super clean, social distance kept and hand sanitiser everywhere. Come and go as you please. Free wifi that works everywhere, never found a dead spot! Will miss my cooked breakfast tomorrow!
We stayed for a couple of nights in August 2020 and his is our second stay since our original stay in July 2018. I can honestly say we had the same wonderful experience at this very friendly establishment. Due to the current pandemic situation it was reassuring that the place was absolutely spotless and had additional measures such as hand sanitisers dotted around the place. Mine hosts Betty and Ian take their responsibilities very seriously and have additional procedures to safeguard residents and we felt completely safe. Our hosts explained that they can also do evening meals should you not want to venture into Llandudno to visit a restaurant. As last time the breakfasts were exceptional with lots to choose from including full English, vegetarian dishes and scrambled eggs with salmon. A huge choice of delicious fresh fruit and yoghurts are also available. I can certainly recommend this B&B without reservation and will definitely return again.…
This little b&b is amazing. After booking a room at a sea front hotel before looking at reviews then checking out trip advisor and seeing the state of rooms in pics that other people had posted we found this lovely place. The couple that own the property are the most friendliest of people. On arrival we were offered a up grade due to arriving there before booking.com had chance to let them know we were coming. Room was amazingly clean, towels and chocolates on bed. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Bed was so really comfy, shower was nice and hot and not just a trickle of water like some places. Breakfast was 5 star, the choices we had we great. Full english highly recommended. When I left I had forgot to take some property with me. When I got home I had already had missed calls and a email letting me know. I still hadn't realised at this point I had left it. My property was posted back to me. Thank you for making us feel welcome. Would highly recommend 5***** A1…
We took our daughter and granddaughter to stay for New Year’s Eve, the owners could not have been any nicer, we got a warm welcome, nothing was to much trouble, the rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast on New Year’s Day was fantastic, fresh fruit, cereals, yougurts, and a full English, even celebrationy fizz was on offer. A last minute break for us in nice company and of course the beautiful seaside will definitely be going back.
