Can't fault our stay in the slightest! The room was perfect for our few nights stay, the view was great and the friendly service made it so much better! One of the best breakfasts we have had and will definitely be back again.

We stayed at The Clontarf Hotel for 4 nights in July, the owners Joni and Mark were excellent hosts and they couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were of a very high standard - tea, coffee and biscuits replenished everyday. The breakfasts were out of this world. They operate an honesty bar which works very well. Looking forward to...

Had a lovely short break here and would gladly return. We had a ground floor room with stunning views of the Orme. The room itself was beautifully decorated and full of little extras to make it that more special...the bottled water and cordial was a lovely touch. The breakfasts were excellent, plenty to choose from and even enough choice to...

I had the good fortune to stay at The Clontarf recently, and I would unhesitatingly add my praises to the others on display on this site. The owners are delightful, and happy to indulge most whims. The breakfasts were excellent, and our room was large, clean and very well appointed. The shower was in a league of its own, and...

We've just come back from a 5 night stay at the Clontarf and our experience was fantastic. We found this place by chance and the owners were extremely helpful as we were bringing our 16 month old twin girls we needed somewhere child friendly. We also wanted something grown up and sophisticated for our needs too. Our time at the...

We booked this lovely hotel after consulting Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. We were made welcome by Mark with a pot of tea and luggage carried to our beautiful and spacious room ( room 2). Both Mark and Toni were very friendly and you got the feeling nothing was too much trouble. Situated on the west shore it...

"top quality breakfast, lovely quiet hotel, very friendly" really enjoyed 1 night stay in room 8,very quiet at night,no drunks staggering past, very little traffic noise, relaxing part of town. Read less Likes: clean, spacious, caring hotel. Guests can have an alternative off menu if they don`t fancy something, which is very generous. Dislikes: need a ceiling fan in breakfast room/very hot when busy.

We had stayed here a couple of years ago and always planned to return but we were thwarted on two previous occasions and had to cancel due to family illness so booking number three was the lucky one and we made it. The Clontarf is a total gem, it's location perfect by the west shore and also handy for getting...
