Having toured extensively round the country recently, easily the best place we visited was Can-y-Bae in Llandudno. David and Michael run the place beautifully - lovely breakfasts, smart, spotless rooms and a great bar to have a drink in the evenings, and a laugh with them. We had a ball.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The hospitality provided by the delightful Michael and David went way beyond expectations. My friends and I were working until 10.00 each evening but we were provided with sandwiches in the bar (and a curry one night) even though I was the only one of the group actually staying there. Breakfast was cooked to...

Myself and 3 colleagues stayed at this hotel for the Royal British Legion Women's Section Conference April 2012. Welcome was excellent, Rooms spotlessly clean and the food, well. Heston look out, you have competition. 5 minutes from Venue Cymru and right on the sea front. Michael and David are so friendly and go out of their way to help. If...

Our stay here was wonderful. Michael and David are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely room with an ace sea view, can take in the whole of the bay and the Great Orme also! Breakfast was delicious, service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be staying here again, many times....

I needed to visit North Wales on short-notice, and I was grateful first for finding a friendly and helpful accomodation so quickly, and secondly that they were able to provide additional services for local entertainment and guides for the town. I was impressed by both the friendly greeting and the warm and welcoming feel of the hotel. The food was...

I was travelling alone, so had booked a single-person room. It was the most comfortable I've ever had, plenty of storage space, a large room for 1 person, good quality bed, wide selection of refreshments - coffee and decaff, tea, hot chocolate, plenty of milk, sugar and sweeteners, shortbread biscuits. The en-suite bathroom was also a good size, immaculately clean,...

We enjoyed a fabulous stay here for 2 nights 9/10 April 2012, in room 23 with a perfect sea view from the bed. This was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever stayed in. As a same sex 'married' couple, we felt completely at ease here (an unusual experience in a small hotel. None of the usual "are you...
