It's all well documented by others, all totally true. This is a strange place which has no cash so no staff. We'll be talking (laughing!) about it for years. The bedrooms were comfortable and Wifi was good so you can get away with it. The breakfast was terrible, in the most depressing surroundings. Thanks goodness I had company. The other...

a few people have said its a strange place . I didn't believe it but its true . The dial 200 at reception is most odd. They have a automatic light system that comes on when you enter the corridor but a good few seconds delayed so your in the dark for about 5 seconds. most off-putting. The room was...

After a booking blunder at a different hotel l was found needing a room at late notice and this was the only hotel with availability. After a four hour drive, it was this hotel or a sleep in the car. On reflection, the car would have been cleaner and more comfortable. Room was dirty, mattress was very poor and the...

On arrival at the hotel the person on Reception said that he wasn't sure if he had received the on-line booking from Booking.com so he asked for my phone so he could see the confirmation email. I was given Room No 20 and the door lock was faulty and although I complained I was told I had to play around...

To echo other reviews, very strange place. Was spotlessly clean on our visit, rooms and communal areas alike.. Didn't go for breakfast.. it pushed the room price up 22 quid despite the card in room saying it only 8 quid! Poor maths on the receptionists part I feel. The interior of the bar is like something from a 1970s cruise...
