We stayed here for our 25th anniversary as it is where we had our wedding reception. We were greeted by an unethuastic man who had little interest in the purpose of our trip. The location is good for Stevenage old & new towns . There is the main building and an annex. We stayed in the main hotel on the...

I booked this hotel for one night because my football team was playing just a couple of miles away . This hotel has everything you want . One big issue when finding a place can be the parking. Well , the Abbington has plenty of space . I found the staff pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and...

Firstly this place has an actual hotel type place then like a new build at the back I've stayed in both, equally both enjoyable ! The pictures are from the new accommodation at the back of the premises. Unbelievable shower - that good the second night we got back from work i slept in there ! Haha. The food -...

We stayed for only one night in a twin room before catching a flight from Luton, about 20kms away. Although the room and en-suite bathroom were on the small size, there was absolutely everything there to make your stay comfortable - comfortable beds, TV, good WiFi, toiletries, hair dryer and a great breakfast. Plenty of secure parking on site. Friendly...

This is my first and by no means the last time I stay at the Abbington. From the moment I came into the hotel I felt at home, its that kind of place. I hope they dont mind me saying that its an old fashion B&B/hotel, and thats a positive, I live a couple of weeks a month traveling around...

This is a stereotypical B&B where I stayed for a single night in a small but entirely adequate "single" room, which had everything you could possibly need. It was clean with an en-suite and included a number of toiletries etc. that you struggle to find in some larger UK-wide accommodation providers. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the breakfast...

My partner and I stayed here for one night only during the bank holiday weekend, whilst visiting family nearby. Unfortunately I was recovering from a broken foot and was still using crutches. I was relieved when we found our room was on the ground floor. We had booked a twin room and though tastefully furnished this room was far too...

Stayed here for one evening after a trip to Knebworth House. The hotel is a typical old fashioned English B & B with a window hatch for reception as you enter. A lady (I'm assuming the owner) smiled and said "name" when we arrived...no hello/good afternoon. Told us we were staying in the 'bungalow' (which is a separate building at...

Since the hotel is so close to a main road we were very pleased that we slept well in a quiet room at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was very comprehensive and there is plenty of choice to challenge brain cells first thing! Staff were friendly The room we stayed in was compact with enough space for us...
