Stayed for two nights for a wonderful wedding. Food was good. Staff were very friendly. Was an amazing place to have the Wedding reception. Great food for everyone to have, was very pretty inside and was decorated beautifully. Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, had a good Tv with a kettle with Tea, Coffee and Hot chocolate. Good...

Check-in was smooth and efficient by a friendly member of staff, even though i was an hour early. There is car parking across the road on some ground owned by the hotel if needed but it is not secured. My room was fine with a comfortable double bed, large TV, tea & coffee making facilities, and an ample en-suite. The...

Waited 30 minutes for a lasagne that was microwaved within an inch of its life, rock hard and inedible. Ham, egg and chips literally was a slice of ham, with over cooked chips and under cooked peas. First choice of meal had sold out, our second choice was cheaper and we didn't get refunded the difference!! AVOID

All the common areas are filthy with cobwebs, food on the floor in the dining room and mucky carpets. There was an exposed consumer unit at the top of the landing. Our...

Had one of the Daily Mail weekend break offers - just 2 of us but all the "cheap" rooms had gone with the exception of the family room which we took at the back of the hotel. Room is overlooked so has wooden slats on the outside of the windows - so the view other than 45 degrees up is...

We stayed here for 1 night and it was 1 night too many. This hotel has so much potential but unfortunately it fails at every hurdle. It is very run down and could do with a complete refurb, however that apart there is no excuse for it being dirty. Our room was on the front overlooking the high street, the...

Firstly the positives - the "hotel" is in a good location, has a decent bar and all the staff were helpful and polite. However, it really needs some money spent on it - my room was small, not particularly clean and full of scuffs. The bathroom tiles had mildew and the shower had a life of its own. Finally while...
