Hotel du Vin made us feel very special with their Valentines Day offer. We had a fabulous meal and a relaxing stop over at a really good price. Staff were excellent - courteous and attentive. The room was superb too, beautifully furnished and comfortable. No hesitation in recommending Hotel du Vin, for an extra special break in a fantastic location.

Great location, beautiful premesis, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and most importantly fantastic service. I recommend breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. Didn't get a chance to try out the cigar bar selection, maybe next time.

This was a surprise given by my grand daughter. I had no idea where I was going or doing for my birthday. We arrived and our coats were taken charge of and we were shown to a wine tasting room. Surrounded by wine bottles we had a fantastic meal. All beautifully cooked and presented. We were treated respectfully and felt...

Lovely building in the old part of Poole. Poole Pottery and Museum (both free and worth a visit) close by plus some nice old pubs. We had a dog-friendly room (though we eventually left him in kennels) but there were other dogs around and they were well looked after. The Quayside is a lovely historic area and we walked easily...

Other Hotel du Vin have outstanding rooms. Our balcony room was pretty ordinary for a 'premium' room. Parking issues are not well addressed: surely elderly or disabled should be told more clearly and assisted (doesn't apply to me but be aware it is a potential issue) All staff we met were excellent and tried hard but clearly more are needed....

Stayed here for one night last Sunday and it really was an outstanding stay. We were in an executive room which really had the WOW factor, the bed was huge (8ft) and everything in the room felt very luxurious. When we arrived we were checked in my a very friendly, accommodating member of staff (sorry didn't get her name), who...

I stayed at this hotel en route to the Channel Islands after a very tiring journey from the Isle of Man with my dog in tow. When I arrived I stayed in the Bodega room. The facilities were fabulous. N'espresso machine, tea and hot chocolate and real milk in the fridge; there was also a fully stocked mini bar with...

“Domaine Filleatrau (sic) was a ground floor room reached through the Bistro and Small (£10 per night) Hotel Car park. In good weather there is a small patio area although there is a noisy extractor system alongside. The room is big, large en suite, HUGE bed (by our standards), loads of space for stuff and good TV if you want it. At £99 per night for a couple including breakfast and evening meal you should love it.”
