Situated on back road off the quay. No noise from the road or quay area. Lovely, spacious rooms. Car park difficult to get into with a large car as a narrow entrance. Very nice bistro menu. Nice coffee machine in room and magazines to read. Would visit again

Sunday my family organised a treat with Sunday lunch at the Hotel and they also arranged for my wife and I to stay Sunday night and enjoy the following day in the area. The Hotel does a special rate for those staying Sunday night so this made it a very special treat and at a great price. The food &...

Located in the part of Poole with a bit of character and peace. The staff here really can't do enough for - exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The food is above average and the presentation of the rooms and the facilities is really great. You may even get a little cottage with its own out door dining area. Large rooms and...

My friend booked for seven people for afternoon tea. The table was set in a very dark room so, as it was sunny, we requested we be move to a table on the patio, which the staff did. When the food was served, it was on slates, not the usual stands we had expected. When laid out for seven people,...

If you want to be near Poole quayside then this hotel is in a great location. Nearer to the main waterfront than the RNLI 'hotel' but with much smaller car parking facilities and no views of the water. The two establishments could not be more different. The du Vin is an old building on several levels with no lifts and...

We stayed two nights for a special birthday weekend. The staff were delightful and attentive, the rooms were exceptional and the food utterly delicious. Car parking would be good but the local p&d was fine. Felt like a very personal experience. We loved it!

This is the fourth HdV we have stayed at and although there was nothing 'wrong' with this one it just missed the mark. Some examples from our bank holiday stay...
