Didn't know of this hotel, we only booked it as it was the nearest point to the ferry to get to Jersey. What a wonderful surprise it was. The room was perfect with a lovely en-suite equipped with fluffy towels and a lovely shower. We had coffee making facilities complete with biscuits too. In the morning there was a breakfast...

I was checked into a room that had not been cleaned following the previous occupant! The bed linen had clearly been used, the bathroom dirty and there was the best part of a packet of biscuits squashed into the carpet. Give this place a wide birth if you know what's good for you! The second room I was allocated at...

Family meal for 5 This place offers a wide selection of choice , however perhaps less would be more. Chips served with four meals , frozen chips and tasted like they had been recooked, therefore nobody ate them . Ordered a veg lasagne was served beef lasagne. One person ordered scampi which was served with chips and not edible. Not...

Booked for our late return from the late ferry from Jersey....what a filthy dirty hotel...MARSTONS....HIDE YOUR HEAD IS SHAME......Yes, we complained, only to be met with shrugged shoulders by a very rude staff member. Food in the bar was okay...... In the light of the morning.....there was thick black mould in the shower so we did not have a shower.......only...

Only 15 minutes walk to Mr Kyps or Poole Town, this hotel has a great location. Our room was small and the window didn't close properly, but it was warm and the bed comfy. With a 20% discount in the restaurant and BOGOF on main meals, our 2 courses only cost £16 and were very tasty indeed - no complaints...

Booked this for the weekend as friend was getting married, it was good value for money and bed was comfortable. The lamps in bedroom had burn marks as incorrect bulbs used and the shower tray filled up with water on every occasion. Breakfast not bad and was included in price. Probably should have mentioned the problems but was in a...

I liked the room, small and quite old fashioned, but had 10 sockets! 10 sockets!!! Sometimes it's hard to find one. It was clean, but there was a down side, it was roasting. I barely got any sleep as I was so darn hot. Problem was that outside the window were very noisy fans, probably for the kitchen, so the...
