We went onto late rooms for this room, in what was described as a four star boutique hotel, but in reality is a room above a shop, accessed down an alley way. The entrance is into a small hall containing a washing machine and the staircase. The bed was very comfortable in this beautifully clean, 2nd floor room. The view...

I stayed in this tiny hotel for one night as I was working locally. My initial phone enquiry was dealt with efficiently by Charlie, and I was met by him on my arrival. I was shown to my room on the top floor and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, size and facilities provided. No breakfast is supplied but...

We stayed here rather than get a taxi back home (it was cheaper!) and what a lucky find! Set above a sewing machine shop this is easy to find, but unless you're looking for it you may not know its there! The shop was closed when we arrived, so we were met with the key & shown to our room....

Nice room in this B&B in central Darlington. Very comfortable, quirky place. Helpful, friendly people, although it is above a shop, you can phone if you are going to arrive late and someone will come to meet you. We would certainly stay here again.

Reception is in the shop with little interaction afterwards. Three rooms the biggest up so steps at the back of the building with a view into next doors window and their brick wall. Gorgeous room with lovely bed, tiny TV, coffee making facilities with no sweetener, ensure with very cold floor and non power shower. Discount should be offered whilst...

Newly refurbished, room was clean and fresh. Bed really comfy. Although the B&B is on a busy street, my room faced the back and was really quiet. Bathroom immaculate. Landlady very friendly and welcoming. This is a great find.

Booked this as price was reasonable and to be fair there isn't a lot of accommodation in central Darlington. This has an ideal location and was just a few minutes walk to where I was attending a leaving party. It is above a shop and this means there is only someone there between the shop opening times but there is...

We were going to a leaving do and decided to book this place as it is central and looked nice. There are only 3 rooms and we stayed in room 2 which was clean and newly decorated with a toilet and shower area up a few steps in the room. I did feel the tv was on the small side...

Stayed one night when visiting friends, great location, room in top of house was so light and airy. Walked past first time, but would return, no bother !! 5 min walk to the centre, plenty of pubs and restaurants, 10 min walk from the train station.

Stopped in room 2 for 3 nights on business. Very comfy bed and clean too. Quite a few steep steps to the rooms so no good if you are disabled. Tv was wired into the internet which was good for watching iPlayer but wifi code. only 3 rooms in the B&B but family run who were helpful. Plenty of free...
