Walked in and thought i was back in the 80’s when i worked in airmen’s/officer’s messes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room comfortable, although the beds were on the hard side. It was very quiet and although the decoration was tired the rooms were clean.

No the carvery didn't include any lamb which like this person said considering all the lambs seen on the trips.

How far to the town centre ??
4.5 miles but Yarm is only 1 mile away and has shops pubs and restaurants
