We paid next to nothing (£52) for two nights for us and our dogs and the phrase 'you get what you pay for' couldn't be more fitting. The bed was extremely uncomfortable - springs sticking into every part of us, the toilet was at an odd angle and there wasn't one plug socket in the room........at all! On the other...

Scruffy looking motel which reminded me of all of the negative stereotypes as seen in American TV and movies. I can't decide if it reminds me more of Breaking Bad or a Dirty Harry movie or the Bates Motel? Anyway it is a quite scary looking place and not at all appealing. Ample parking but I parked well away from...

Struggled to find the hotel as it is set back, turns out it was the first building to be built and then the estate expanded in front of it, nice quiet area. River down down the back, which adds to the rustic feel. Reception great service, greeted by Belinda who made check-in fun. Room was more than adequate for the...

Went here in Feb 2017 and managed to leave with quite a large case of scabies across my body. Not to mention the broken bed and stains on the carpet... Just spend the extra ten quid and go to a Travelodge, at least they're parasite free.

I was on business in Wakefield for three days and stayed here. It is in the middle of an Industrial estate, and is great value. While the rooms are dated, the staff are friendly and you get good fast wifi if you book through the Campanile website. There is great food at the Cafe Campanile - French style and a...

Have booked without checking Tripadvisor, which was first mistake. The guy at reception and girl at breakfast were both very nice and cordial? My room, 59, smells has signs of water having come down the walls and is underneath what sounds like the boiler, so noisy. Asked if this was the standard room and was told it is but offered...

Just a one night stay while in Wakefield on business. The hotel is very similar to the Super 8's you get in the states - basic but clean and relatively well equipped. Our room had a flat screen tv, comfortable bed; tea/coffee; bathroom with over bath shower. The rooms are in one block and the restaurant in a separate building....

Yes this hotel is on an industrial estate yes it did remind us a bit like a Butlins holiday camp but for the price we paid for two nights we were not expecting the ritz, it is cheap and very cheerful would have got a better mark from me if I hadn't been shown to a room with a dirty...
