A very enjoyable stay at a less than ideal time of the year. This was not our first stay at Holmfield House, a venue which has become synonymous with many journey's home over the past sixty years. The accommodation is comfortable enough, the staff competent and reasonably friendly to those prepared to meet them half way. The parks in which...

It's as I expected. A clean, comfortable and functional Premier Inn, with helpful staff. In beautiful woodland setting, it is very pretty and has safe Private off road parking. Attached to the Inn is a fabulous eatery that's well worth a visit? The food and service was amazing. Tasteful decor and very welcoming, this is a nice place to spend...

The overall appearance is of tiredness. Despite the staff being very pleasant and attentive, the hotel needs an urgent facelift. Actually, the price doesn't match the quality of the establishment. Do not bother about the breakfast!

Hi Jose Thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us. While I'm really pleased to hear the team were friendly & very helpful, it's such a shame you were let down by the decor of the hotel. We always aim to be great value so it's really disappointing the quality of your room wasn't up to our...

Room was a little cold on arrival and breakfast waitress could have been more interested in us, especially as there was non-one else to be served at the time! Wifi was down on second day which was irritatinf but not vital, fortunately. Apart from these minor issues, the place would have rated veru good.

First the basics: Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower and quiet. The hotel is situated to the rear of a popular local pub eating venue. Checking in was no problem while walking to my room I noticed a number of large stains on the corridor carpet. On entering the room it was cold and The small wall mounted heater took...

Stayed in a family room for 1 night. Room was very dated with stained carpet and a rather odd smell about the room. We were given a hand towel and a bath sheet between 3 people ( hardly ideal), completely empty soap pack in dispenser in bathroom (no excuse, should be checked between guests) and a dirty bath. Positives: friendly receptionists,comfy...

Lovely to be located in the park. The rooms are a little dated as PI seem to be upgrading a lot of their hotels at the moment so this one seems a little tired but it is clean and comfortable. Most staff are friendly and welcoming. Disabled access not great, I never found a lift and I was on the...
