Wonderful stay at Farthings. Tranquil and relaxing in lovely surroundings with plenty of birdlife to see. Friendly and attentive staff. Well presented and large room. Excellent food with wonderful dinner and a delicious scallop starter a must to try but everything beautifully presented and very tasty with lovely fresh produce. Thank you.

This was initially just a stop over on our way to a four night stay in Cornwall but it turned out to be the highlight of the holiday. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were made to feel like long lost friends We pre-booked bed, breakfast and evening meal and that was a brilliant choice ... the...

Lovely hotel in a quiet location there is also a children's park over the road from the hotel which was perfect for our son. We had a clean room but had booked for two adults and one infant. On arrival the staff offered a cot in the room due to no additional bed. however failed to mention this was at...

Returned to Farthings for our anniversary and was as just as memorable as our wedding there. We stayed in our favourite room (Garden) with its lovely view and glorious wisteria. The lovely staff were as welcoming as ever and we had a wonderful anniversary dinner.

We stayed here for four nights recently and had an amazing time. We stayed in the magnolia suite which was beautiful. We looked over the front garden where peacocks and guinea fowls walked freely. It was such a peaceful setting and both the front and back gardens were stunning. Every day there is a 'happy hour' between 4.30 and 6.30...

This place wraps you up and keeps you really warm. The staff were astonishing the rooms, you don't want to leave the hem and the food memorable. It is one of the nicest places I have stayed anywhere in the world, one week was nowhere near enough so so loved it.Thank you

We have just returned from this hotel after staying there for a couple of nights, we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful, the room we stayed in which was 'Willow' was very clean and spacious. The bed was uncomfortable as the mattress was not sprung right to the outside edge which caused a bit of roll off...

Fantastic location and beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive staff. However extortionate rates for wi-fi is unacceptable the cost of the rooms should at very least include wi-fi and basic breakfast. £30 for 4 of us to have tea and toast and one eggs Benedict at £9. Really really poor value for money. I'm sorry but due to the high...
