Our stay at Lyndale B&B was splendid. The room was immaculate, the ensuite bath ideal, and breakfast was the best. The location of Lyndale was excellent for exploring the city center. But our hosts made the stay amazing. Hosts Neil and Liz Rodram were wonderfully warm, attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend a stay here for a superb visit to Taunton.

This is the 4th consecutive year we have stayed at Lyndale; it is a most attractive house, in a quiet location, adjacent to Vivary Park. The rooms are very clean and attractive, overlooking a delightful garden. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are a good size with excellent showers. Breakfast is prepared by the owner, Liz, to your individual requirements, with a wide choice and is perfectly cooked. Nothing is too much trouble for Liz, who always remains cheerful and helpful. This B & B is simply a gem!

Just returned from having spent two nights at Lyndale I stayed in a twin bedroom overlooking the garden and Vivary park. Liz was really friendly and made me feel at home . The room was a good size and breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice. Location couldn't have been any better 5 mins walk into town either through the park or down the road. I was attending a wedding at Taunton Registry Office and was able to walk there easily in high heels in 10 mins!! This B & B is a little gem

Lyndale backs-on to lovely Vivary Park, in one of Taunton's more prosperous and attractive streets.
It is well situated for the High Street (5 mins walk), the centre of town (10 mins) and the theatre and county cricket grounds (15mins thru town).
It's a lovely old house with a friendly host and a good breakfast (which has to be pre-ordered the night before).
Our room overlooked the delightful garden & the park beyond and was spacious and well equipped.
Thoroughly recommended and very good value.

Stayed here for one night last week while doing a case in Taunton. Liz is delightful and gave me a very warm welcome on arrival. It's just like being welcomed into somebody's home (which of course it is, save that the B&B part is separate so you don't have that feeling of being on top of the owners.) The room was clean, comfortable, smelt lovely and the whole thing was a beautiful calm setting - the rooms and B&B living room overlook a lovely green garden. Breakfast was delicious and there was so much to choose from, cooked to order. Finally Liz made the effort to recommend places to get dinner and her ideas were spot on. If I could have stayed another night I would have, and next time I have reason to visit Taunton I will definitely try to stay here. I imagine it'd be a lovely place to explore Taunton from - the living room feels just like home in the evening and there's a fireplace and DVDs on offer. The perfect change from faceless hotels, and heaps better than other B&Bs I've stayed in. A treat!

Liz Rudrum is the "upfront" host of Lyndale. We found her to be very pleasant and wanting to please. A nice touch was to give us tea and biscuits in the guest lounge on arrival. The lounge was very comfortable and homely, and the view of the beautiful garden is lovely. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean, the view over the park from our window was lovely. To be picky, we found the double room we had was very short on space, the towels in the shower room needed replacing and booking choice of breakfast the previous night not to our taste....having said that, we did stay 4 nights and would probably stay there again if in Taunton. Thank you Liz for your warm welcome.

Really glad we read the reviews about this place, because of that we booked a night's stay, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
What a lovely room we had, peaceful and quiet overlooking a lovely garden, and a park beyond. Everything lovely and clean.
Our host was wonderful, friendly, and went out of her way to help us.
The breakfast was lovely too.
All in all, a lovely, lovely B&B.

If you ever get to stay at this lovely B and B you won’t be disappointed. Lovely friendly host. The room was very clean and had all you wanted. Would highly recommend especially if you want to see a concert in the park behind.

This was a perfect place to stay while I was visiting a relative in the hospital, which is within a convenient distance from Lyndale. The room is beautifully decorated, large, and overlooking attractive gardens and Vivary park. The bed was comfortable, the shower was AMAZING and the owner friendly and welcoming. It was a desperately needed haven from the stress of the hospital visit. I’d definitely recommend this B&B and stay in future.
