The Premier Inn Skegness Seafront hotel garners praise for its prime location near the beach and local attractions, as well as its ample parking facilities. While guests appreciate clean and spacious rooms with modern touches, offering a peaceful retreat, some have experienced challenges with temperature control and maintenance. The service receives mixed reviews, with commendations for friendliness yet grievances regarding check-in and cleaning services.
Travelers are fond of the on-site restaurant, citing good value for meal deals, though opinions on room rates and extra charges vary. Cleanliness is generally lauded, though the state of the carpets has been noted as an area for improvement.

Detailed Reviews
I stayed at this Premier Inn back in August and it was my first time staying at this hotel . We used the self check in and ordered additional breakfasts, with no problem. Literally took less than five minutes from start to finish. I stayed overnight in a family room with my partner and two teenage children. The beds were very close together but I was just pleased to see a single bed and a pull out bed instead of two pull out beds. There was also two additional seats which meant you didn’t all have to sit on the beds which was good especially after been at the beach all day and waiting to get a shower. The bathroom was lovely. Very clean, plenty of thick towels (and somewhere to hang them), dispensers for shower gel/shampoo, a shower and bath and it had great lighting. Additional pillows were supplied in the room and the beds were really comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were basic but appreciated, especially after travelling. Really quiet hotel, no noise heard in the room except for the AC which was barely noticeable. Our room was also extremely clean. The staff were extremely helpful. Every single one had a smile on their face. There’s vending machines near where the lifts are situated which was both a blessing and a curse. Great for grabbing a drink without leaving the hotel, not so good on the budget when you’ve got kids with you. Close to the amusements and shops, a five minute walk to a beautiful beach and pier and a fantastic pub adjoined to the hotel. I would definitely recommend getting the breakfast and booking in advance if you’re thinking of eating an evening meal there. The location of this hotel is perfect. There’s plenty of parking available and I was allowed to park prior to check in and up to 3pm on the day of check out. I honestly can’t fault this hotel or it’s staff. I’ve already booked a longer stay for later this year and having dealt with the staff over the phone, I can say they’re just as helpful as they were while we were there. I can’t wait to go back.

Really impressed, very clean, covid assured. All staff really polite & very helpful rooms very clean and a great size for a couple more than enough room. Beds were so comfy shower great aswell. Food well marvellous could not find anything to fault this place already booked to go back. The steamboat restaurant where we had our meal deal was exceptional value couldn't do enough for you and would go round asking if your food was ok.
They were always going around sanitising Nothing was any trouble for them.
Would give it 10 stars 🌟 if allowed 😆
Would 100% recommend this place.

Had a really enjoyable break here at the Premier Inn Skegness Seafront hotel.
The location couldn't have been better, a very short walk to the beach and next to the pier. We expected some noise from outside due to the location but we really didn't a thing. Plenty of free onsite parking.
The cleanliness of the room and hotel in general couldn't be faulted.
We had booked a room for 2 adults and 2 young children. The room was quite small for a family room but comfortable. The modern decorated room included the usual tea/coffee facilities, a 32" TV, air conditioning and a hair dryer. In the bathroom there was a bath with a shower (with very good pressure) over it, with dispensers for shower gel and liquid soap.
There was no maid service due to COVID-19, however additional milks/tea/coffee/sugar etc can easily be collected from the hotel reception.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Hoping to return next year!

The standard budget hotel rubbish.
The bad points:
The walls/ceiling between the rooms are so thin you can hear everything from next door/above. We were unlucky enough to have a couple of rowdy kids above us and it sounded like the Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan were having a royal rumble. Bang bang wallop!
Because of Covid the staff don’t clean the rooms until check out. Left with the same bedding and towels for 4 days.
No fridge in the room.
No phone in the room.
The shower is an overhead above the bath and does not disconnect from the unit.
The shower curtain is held up by the worst hooks imaginable. Kept falling off.
The “family room” is a joke. Just a standard room with 2 single beds shoved in. No space at all.
The windows don’t open in the room.
No iron or ironing board.
The toilet paper is in a single sheet dispenser and is just useless.
The restaurant was always fully booked for breakfast so had to go elsewhere everyday.
The good points:
Great location right next to the beach and pier.
Very clean hotel. It is new so this is to be expected.
Staff are really helpful.
All in all not the best. But when in Skegend what other choices do you have really apart from the “old people’s” hotels.
But by far the worst thing is the poorly constructed walls and ceilings/floors. In 2020 you shouldn’t be able to feel the vibration of people walking around in the room above you. Just a cheap poorly made building.

Stayed one night, enjoyed breakfast and dinner... absolutely ideal. Compared with dated neighbouring b&bs which I’m sure will offer fantastic customer service, for a small modern family we just fancied something a little more this century. Your average Skegvegas b&b will set you back £75 a night including breakfast whilst we paid around £95 for the same here but as I say, each to their own.
Family hotel room for three was on point, evening meal (extra) which is all cooked in an open fronted kitchen to really wet your appetite with an all you can eat breakfast in the morning to finish it all off.
What more could you ask?
I have to say in closing, the lager and real ale selection in the steamboat is epic.

The hotels location is right next to Skegness Beach so ideal for those beach summer strolls. Centrally located to all amenities that a sea side town has to offer. If you have children this would be a great hotel for you to stay at.
The area itself however wasn't the greatest. As soon as you arrive and step from your vehicle you are welcomed by the smell of gange . The resort pubs are outdated and dirty with only the Jolly Fisherman and the pub attached to the Premier Inn the only two decent pubs.
The welcome and check in at the Premier Inn at Skegness was easy and quick. The staff were polite and friendly and very informative of surrounding areas.
Breakfast was exceptional as always is in Premier Inn. We couldn't sit where we wanted and shown to a table and not asked if it were OK. The Dumb Waiters where they place the dirty crockery was too close to some tables and not enjoyable when trying to have a quiet morning.
The kitchen staff comments can be heard on the dining area and when a male employee make a comment to ask someone to check the carpark for the tea spoons you sort of knew what kind of stay you were going to be having. These comments were made on the Easter Sunday Morning. Also same person belittled a colleague over porridge- not good for the brand and how to promote feiendliness or a great welcome.
Overall we paid premier plus for the room, however half drank bottles under the bed, no tooth brush holder and no safe in the rooms. The bed was not the best, not sure why because normally have great night sleep but not this time. The windows didn't open, not even to a tilt so no fresh air was able to be added Into the room.
Overall slightly disappointed by standards as this is not normally the case when we use premier inn.

We were originally booked into a hotel across the road which didn't meet our expectations and were thankfully able to book into Premier Inn albeit for an eye watering price at such short notice.
Pros:
The deputy manager was so lovely and chatty, nothing was too much trouble for her.
The restaurant staff were extremely friendly
The room smelled lovely and was clearly freshly cleaned when we arrived
We didn't need to check in or out at reception. We checked in on a terminal and were able to leave our room key in a box to check out.
Very closely located to the beach and shops.
Cons:
Couldn't check in until 4pm
The person in the room above us woke us at 5.50am stomping around on their floorboards. Not the hotel's fault at all but still a bit of a nuisance.
Tip:
For anybody that may not be aware, rooms are only cleaned daily upon request.

We stayed here for three nights last year.
We arrived early (12pm), check in was 3pm. Staff were so friendly and helpful, they allowed us to use the car park while our room was ready. So we had a walk around skegness to find out where everything was. Our room was lovely decorated (modern) very clean with a beautiful bathroom, plenty of hot beverages to pick from. You are given a card instead of a key which opens your room door, you need it also work the lifts too. All covid procedures were in place. At breakfast (which was scrupulously gorgeous) is brought to your table. During normal times (no covid) its a self service breakfast. There is a good range of choice for breakfast, full english and continental etc.
The restaurant has a massive menu from steaks, pastas, pizzas, chicken meals, curry's, fish etc. The kids menu has a good variety of choice too.
The bar is well staffed (no long waits to get served) and has a good choice of ales, ciders, largers and spirits.
There is seating area outside so you can have a drink or meal and watch the world go bye. (Nice sun tramp to get a tan while having a few).
The free car park is massive, you just register your car registration number to reception. You can keep your car there until 3pm on the day you leave which is a bonus.
Skegness is a lovely clean town on your door step.
All the staff are professional, polite, helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay perfect.
I would like to thank all the staff for making our first stay so memorable. This premier inn is the best i have stopped inn.

Dont get to the hotel until 2pm or you will be sat outside! Very Covid savy including the restaurant Well done very good stay, No access to see the sea as the Inn is built sideways on ( like Bridlington) But only a stones throw away over a small bridge. Only problem is there is no disabled access to the bridge unless you go out of the main entrance and round the top part of the hotel. We had to negotiate the car park and we had to get over the car park barriers. This does need sorting, Beware all rooms have flashing red light on the ceiling part of their alarm system can be annoying

We have been to many premier inn's, this has to be one of the best. From checking in to leaving the staff made our stay so special. The covid set up is first class, from sanitisers to distance markers, well marked areas, and information notices. Our room was very clean with all goodies you expect from premier inn (tea, coffee, milk, shower gel etc). Breakfast was served at your table. I had the full english which was served hot and plentyful, you could have as much as you want (just ask). The staff are friendly, polite, and professional, a credit to premier inn.
