Outstanding for BB,..family get together was made perfect by the outstanding treatment of the owners ,Clean and bright ,cheerful welcome ,breakfast was lovely and nothing was to much bother ,even gave us a lift to town ,when we could not get a taxi./would stay here again . I often have to stay away for a night or two with my engineering business.You will not find any better than here.Lovely people who run the beautifully kept guest house.I had a perfect Cumbrian breakfast which really set me up for the day.Highly recommended. Paul Roller Solutions

Clean and comfortable . Bed very comfy with really soft pillows. Bathroom compact but quite acceptable. Plenty of towels and toiletries to use. Access to courtyard from bedroom / handy if you are a smoker. Overall we couldnt fault this guest house at all. We didnt have time for breakfast but owner gave us a takeaway breakfast which we appreciated....

What a friendly guest house .the owners are so welcoming. They went the extra mile to keep my little boy happy .the breakfast was lovely served by lovely hosts .we will definitely be going back. I would definitely recommend this guest house to all friends and family .

Stayed here for 1 night with 2 friends the guest house was of a high standard we could not find one fault the breakfast was of high quality tip book direct we paid £75 for a night through booking .com and found that booking direct would of cost us £65 for night. Recommended

We stayed for one night in room 12, this has direct access to the courtyard garden and is classed as a suite as it has a seating area and is quite spacious. The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, (as is the dining room). The bathroom is a bit on the tight side though. Even though the guest house...

After booking log cabins and finding them disgusting we left there and went looking for a b&b for the night. With 3 tired children and by this time time it was 8.30 we went into a hotel which was full but they recommended the Abby Court. The new owners are working hard to ensure this is a well-run, welcoming guest house. Good pre- arrival communication. Welcoming, chatty hosts. Any issues will be quickly handled (we had none).
