Great location, good breakfast and friendly host, what else do you want. Easy to find although you may miss it by driving a wee bit fast. Excellent advice from Alison on local attractions. Stayed one night but will stay longer next time.

Great little B&B in the middle of nowhere. Friendly hosts, nice breakfast and room 1 definitely has a nice view. All in all a very good place to stay if you are in cairngormes nationalpark. Recommendable!

We were two people and searched a nice place to be. In the evening we found the B&B Creag Meggan. We were warmly welcomed by Alison. Made a note for the breakfast next morning. In the evening we had a cup of tea outside. From the bench behind the house you have a nice view. Some rabbits were observed. The...

I give my special compliments to our host Alison. She was very friendly and warm hearted and had a good sense of humor. We were lucky to stay at a day there were some gaelic music played live in a pub nearby and Alison adviced us to come. It proved to be a very pleasant event indeed. You don't get...

My wife and I stayed for one night and had a nice room. We had a good breakfast and the hostess Alison was pleasant, interesting, and gave great information on places to see, including Lock Muick park which was beautiful and we saw some deer and other wildlife. The dining area was wonderful and had a great old antique dining...

Well done to you both for your continuing excellence and traditions coupled...

Spent just one night while travelling the Highlands. Very comfortable accommodations and a good breakfast. Highly recommend the side trip over to Loch Muick for a quick hike after breakfast. The sitting parlor was very welcoming as we enjoyed some of Alison's stories of local history. A quick stop at the town bakery and we were on our way.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Creag Meggan for 4 nights early in September. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Great location in quiet area on the edge of town. Allison and Rob were great hosts. Set right in the Cairngorms National Park, it's a perfect staging area for hiking, discovering the park and local castles like...

We booked into Craeg Meggan on New Years Eve with two dogs. We planned on staying for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 and booking a long weekend a month later. Perfect for the dogs -they played and ran around in a totally secure fenced back yard while we chilled, read, loved the views, chatted and generally had...

Touring through Scotland a little towards the end of the season in Oct and boy was it cold! We ended up in Ballater and were able to book this very comfortable and clean b n b through the Tourist Information center. Creag Meggan is just a tiny bit outside of town in the gloriously beautiful countryside! The view from our...

“Ask for room 1. It's got the best view of the fields and hills. There are six rooms. I didn't see all of them, but we liked room 1 most.”
