last stayed here four years ago and wont return in a hurry. Our positive welcome form the receptionist mentioned in other posts soon went downhill. The room was clean with TV, Kettle etc. but not comfortable for anything other than an overnight stay - and we'd booked for 7 nights!! Entrance and common areas looked like they need redecorating and...

We stayed here for 1 night before flying from Manchester airport. Having read the previous reviews and bearing in mind that we paid just over £40 for the night I wasn't expecting much. I was actually pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The hotel does look run down and worse for wear but the staff were great, the rooms again...

A level where everything is powered by a huge generator and you have no way of escaping from the infernal din and fumes. The girl at reception said " It's nothing to do with me....I only work here'. Barely managed two hours sleep! Tip for travellers. A useful tip for the would be traveller.....take a cardboard box. Only a short...

Stayed here as we were flying from Manchester the next day and up at 4. The female receptionist was lovely, as was the man who gave us our wake up call in the morning. They also booked us a taxi which was helpful . Our room was much nicer than I expected as some reviews made me a bit apprehensive...

We had an early flight and booked this as it was not far from the airport, our room was above reception and the generator was outside our window, the room was so hot even with the window open and the fan going all night, we had no sleep never again I am sorry to say. I will say that the...

Stayed here for one night after coming off a late flight. On arrival, the receptionist was a lovely friendly gentleman who told us everything we needed to know. We did manage to find our rooms after some searching. I will say, there is an awful stench that lingers around the corridors and really isn't pleasant at all. The rooms are...

Here now before we fly tomorrow. Better then expected. Clean and simple. WiFi doesn't work in our room though. Pub literally a few strides away. Shops and takeaways etc down the road. TV hairdryer and kettle in room.

Stayed at this hotel with my family. It's a bit tired looking but the room was clean and the fluffy towels were better than some more expensive places I've stayed in. The receptionist was a real credit to the hotel. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We all thought she was great.

I always check trip advisor reviews before booking anything, except this place. Big mistake. I didn't judge anything on the price, often stay in premier inns for a similar price, I'd have been better staying in the car. Loud, stinking generator out back meaning sleep isn't possible, dirty walls, very old fashioned. A shower so small I struggled to actually...
