Had a lovely stay here,such a clean hotel which is very important to us. Hostess was lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely will visit again. Hoping to come when it isn't school holidays and price won't be as much.

Booked here after reading the previous views and wasn't disappointed. Lovely little guest house near Peasholm Park. Room we were given had a separate private bathroom as it's ensuite. Douglas Guest House is a lovely,well run Guest House with friendly,helpful staff. I enjoyed my three night stay here to watch Yorkshire play cricket. My room had everything I needed,nice bed,shower and bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Nice place, stayed with wife and one year old son. Room had a small shower en suite. Spent a night here and was made to feel welcomed,nothing was too much effort for the friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you could need for your stay .Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. ideal location for the open air theatre and peasholm park , will definately be booking again,

We arrived early but were able to leave our luggage and checked in later! not an overall good impression on arrival but as a previous reviewer said don't judge a book by its cover!! It was very clean with comfortable beds there is tea coffee biscuits available also FREE WIFI. The breakfast had so much choice and was delicious everything...
