This place is seriously going down hill. We've just returned from a turkey and tinsel weekend and apart from the reception staff and bar staff, the rest need to learn up on service. We stayed on Saturday 12th November for one night. Room was superb, so comfortable and roomy and very warm. Staff very pleasant and the breakfast was fantastic value for £4.00. Clean,pleasant ,handy for the Spa,fair prices,decent breakfast.A few squeaky floorboards,but it is a fairly old building,staff helpfull and willing,good heating system,good size rooms,only a few minutes walk from town centre.
