This was our 5th visit to no.17 and it was as good as ever. Andy and family are such good hosts, super friendly but not intrusive. The rooms are very spacious, modern and immaculately clean. Breakfast is big and tasty. Already booked up for next year.

Could not fault the property for its comfort; location; breakfast The rooms are spotless and the hosts are superb. The property is a couple of minutes walk to the funicular lift to the beach..and in the other direction a minute or two walk to the buses. If you are thinking of Scarborough just stay here..you will not be disappointed BTW...

Having stayed here several times, on this visit the standards have dropped dramatically since last visit. The bed and the linen seemed grubby and looked tired. The bed had the legs removed - god knows for what reason. Shower head and fittings caked with scum. Various cracks appearing on the walls too. Think this B&B needs some serious TLC before...

After reading the excellent reviews we looked forward to an overnight stay, but Room 7 lacked the quality I hoped for. Bed very low to the floor, towels needed replacing they we're a worn brown colour and very rough. Shower head needed a good clean. Wardrobe had a Handel missing.a cracked window Payne, blinds that let light in at daybreak,...

Great room, spotless and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors.......enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, good choice of cereals, pastries, and juices followed by cooked options which set us up well for day. Would definitely return.

I found this place purely by chance on Late Rooms while searching for somewhere to stay in Scarborough. What a find it was! The Hotel is a very reasonably priced fully refurbished property with extremely good standards. Run by a young and enthusiastic couple who are very polite and pleasant. A good breakfast cooked freshly each day with plenty of...

Just back from a 4 night break here. The hotel is great - the room was spacious, clean and stylish. Andy and Mica that own the hotel are really friendly and looked after us throughout our stay. Also breakfast was great - really good quality produce. It's in a quiet part of town and only 5 minutes walk from the...

Me and my partner stayed for one night in August this year, the hosts were lovely and really friendly. The hotel is in a nice quiet location just outside the town centre and its a short drive to the beach, castle and sea life centre. When we got there we were given a parking disc so we could park right...
