We have recently returned from our 5th stay at this terrific hotel, a 2 night db&b break. It seems to get better with each visit. The hotel is a lovely building in extensive grounds with great views. You can book specific rooms on the hotels website with descriptions and photos of each one. We have tried a different one each...

We have just returned from a 3 night break, and already feel the need to return. From the minute you enter the beautiful grounds with the long winding drive to the hotel you immediately feel relaxed. On arrival at reception the friendly professional staff immediately make you feel very special and take time to show you the arrangement of the...

We hadn't visited Scarborough for a few years and were not enticed by the attractions of any of the hotels in the town so decided to try Wrea Head. So glad we did. This is a wonderful place. From the very first impression - on driving up to the building, to our departure; everything was excellent. The hotel is being...

Booked through booking.com for a last minute short break and was not disappointed. Beautiful old country house being sympathetically restored. Breakfast was excellent. I am a fussy eater at the best of times however the chef here managed to cook everything to perfection. Room was spotlessly clean with lovely views over the rolling countryside and well manicured grounds. Staff were...

Booked last minute - booked direct with the hotel after looking at Trivago, Booking. Com etc - the latter being more expensive than booking direct. Lovely welcome - staff well trained, rooms comfortable, nice restaurant and bar. Well worth a visit - a little expensive but a treat!! Special mention for Daniel the bar man/porter.

Situated just a few miles out of Scarborough this secluded hotel is a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the seaside town. The old stone Wrea Head Hall stands at the top of a long drive in secluded countryside. From arrival the welcome was warm, friendly and professional. Place yourself in a small stately home complete with grand...

We have just stayed for 3 nights with my children aged13 and 14 and my parents. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. Anne went to a lot of trouble fitting 6 of us into the hotel, allowing us to move rooms so we could stay for the 3 nights. The food was delicious! The savoury blue cheese cake...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel 8 years ago and decided we would stay here again on a last minute decision to visit the coast at the weekend when the weather was so good. We booked the last room available on the morning of the date we were staying and we were not disappointed. The hotel is now...
