Excellent weekend from reception to meals to rooms to service. The staff really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome, MY room was a single on the first floor, not enormous but had all facilities needed for a weekend stay, it was clean modern and well serviced.

Stayed for two nights so I could see my old uni town and mini reunion. I chose this hotel because of its previous ratings and it's location. The hotel has a lovely character which you won't get from any chain place. That said, I found the decor a bit traditional/old. The room was very cleanly kept and had all the...

My friend and I had afternoon tea here, fantastic, really enjoyed it. Service was great, nothing too much trouble. Loved the atmosphere, the man playing the piano was a lovely background to our afternoon. The sandwiches and cakes were lovely - would definitely recommend the Palm Court for afternoon tea.

The reason we chose Palm Court for our short stay was the fact that it is one of very few hotels in Scarborough with its own secure parking, although a short walk away. The Reception area, Dining Room and Lounge are all very nice and staff were welcoming. We stayed on the 2nd floor at the back of the building...

Visited with family last night. Not much of an atmosphere. When ordering food had to pay extra for veg. chips and when ordering other things on the set £60 per couple meal. Portions extremely small although food was good. Left feeling still hungry despite having three courses.

Dear Lynn, Thank you for your feedback regarding your dining experience. Our Come Dine with us Offer I feel is excellent value for money. Three courses, homemade petit fours and a bottle of house wine (as a Hotel manager and customer) I feel is great value. Ultimately our menus are designed for quality over quantity . Whilst I understand that...

Been going to scarborough for 30 years or more and stayed in various hotels and b and b's. Always thought to try the palm court as it looks nice in the downstairs areas. sadly not true of our "Deluxe, superior" room. Quite small with the worst bathroom we have ever encountered. Toilet coming away from the wall , holes in...

Another example of pourly lead hotels - location good in general, the rooms are of very different quality, the beds old and deep, bathroom-windows just fixed with screws at one permanent position, cleaning could be much better, overall worse than most holiday inns - perhaps thats the way it is on this part of the coast - still they could...

Dear guest, Thank you for your 'review' . Unfortunately I cannot take anything constructive from your review moving forward. In relation to your points, I must say that I am somewhat disappointed that your review (albeit brief), does not give myself or the reader anything specific to respond or relate to or indeed to work with. As for the beds...
