We dropped in last week for an evening meal as a last minute surprise for my wife. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, I had the steak which was cooked to perfection & my wife had the Sea Bass. Service was great & nothing was a problem, even with us dropping in last minute without booking. I would... More

We have just returned from a dinner, bed & breakfast stay at the beautiful Ox Pasture Hall Hotel. Driving through the North Yorkshire Moors, we weren't sure what to expect when we reached our destination, however, the photographs we had seen online were very accurate! Three other couples were checking in at the same time as us, and more staff... More

We booked directed with the hotel, and received a complementary upgrade to a beautiful suite with a bathroom which wouldn't have looked out of place on the cover of Homes and Garden. The hotel staff were friendly and professional: nothing was too much trouble, and Lyndsey went out of her way to make sure our Newfoundland dog was spoilt rotten.... More

My husband & I stayed at this hotel recently with our one year old labrador. We could not have been made more welcome by the staff. The room was lovely, with access to a courtyard to let the dog out. The absolute highlight for us was the snug area in the hotel bar. A gorgeous log burner where the dog... More

Decided to try Ox Pasture for Sunday lunch after my wife had visited there with a friend and had a lovely roast beef sandwich on a weekday lunch. We had not booked but called to check we would get in. The place was fairly quiet but there was a party of 14 and a foursome in before us so our... More

My partner and I booked an appointment with this hotel as a potential wedding venue. The website was professional, the photos looked great and they has specifically mentioned the capacity to do intimate/small weddings. With our numbers being less than 3 people we thought it would be a good place to see. On the positive side the grounds and overall... More

We are really sorry we could not accommodate your needs. Small intimate weddings are hosted on a Monday to Thursday. We do not host weddings for such small numbers on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Sorry about that. Good luck with your search More

Needed to get away and relax, just for a few days and loved every minute of our time in this delightful hotel with its amazing grounds. Cuisine was delicious with lots of choice and the staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Two people instantly spring to mind - Jeni and Paul - who made our stay one to remember.... I called up the hotel to book a Classic room and was informed by the member of staff that there were no rooms available. After looking on the Internet I see that Booking.com informs me that there are 4 classic rooms available! I book the room and then realise I have paid £30 more because of booking through booking.com. Dear guest, You chose to book a standard room through a third party travel agent. You then tried to contact the hotel to get the room rate reduced. When we could not reduce the rate, you became aggressive and rude. We are sorry that you paid more than you needed to, but that was your choice. We look forward to... More

The country hotel gave us a well received warm welcome – we were showed to our room after Lotti had a quick charge around the grounds stretching her legs. She accompanied us to our spacious suite with king size double bed and sofa bed in the lounge area which was already set up for our daughter. The room was really... More
