Nestled down a quiet cul de sac, on site parking very useful. Friendly welcome and a helpful staff. We stayed in a lovely room with four poster bed in one of several outbuildings, we would have loved to stay in the windmill itself but it was taken unfortunately. Five minute walk from the main shopping area and the railway station,...

This property is within walking distance of the train station and the city center. The rooms are not in the windmill itself but adjacent thereto. We were greeted warmly and quickly taken to our first floor room. The room was clean, modern and a good size with all the amenities we needed. The location is in a more tenement part...

The Windmill was fantastic, we rented the upper 2 floors which are reached by an outside staircase to a balcony. The rooms on 2 floors have round walls and old oak beams, but the interior is fitted out with modern amenities. Pay the little bit extra for the experience of staying in the upper apartment you wont be disappointed. The...

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Windmill. The owners are very attentive and will do anything for you. We did not stay in the actual windmill, however our room in the annex was very good. It had a four poster bed, large flat screen tv, large shower room, sofa and refreshment tray. It was very...

The windmill was a little oasis hidden away in the built-up back streets of sunny Scarborough, only a hop and a skip from the main train station in the town, and in easy walking distance to the main shopping centre and south beach. The accommodation itself (the 3rd floor of mill) was very clean and had all the basics you...

Stayed 2 nights whilst running the hard moors ultra. Nice features, spacious comfortable friendly and a great breakfast. Ideal location for exploring the Cleveland way, Whitby and the other areas such as staithes. Very well priced and a bit of a hidden gem if you want a retreat from the throngs and dearer residences.

For some reason i thought i was going to be staying in a windmill but on arrival we were taken to a room in building block attached to it. Make sure you are aware of where you will be staying. The room was ok but the shower is not as good as it could be. Nice setting in a nicely...

The breakfast was extra but well worthate as was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend this and more than likely be having a return...

We have just spent 3 nights here and we were lucky enough to get to stay in the actual windmill, we had the lower apartment which was huge, much bigger than I was expecting and it was very well laid out and had everything you could possibly need and was very clean, we instantly felt relaxed and at home Dave...

Welcome to The Windmill, just a 5 minute walk from the bustling town centre of Scarborough, its busy railway station and close to the iconic Stephen Joseph Theatre which hosts regular plays and concerts throughout the year. The Windmill, is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and is the last remaining windmill in Scarborough offering quality self-catering and bed & breakfast accommodation with limited free parking. We have three king-size four poster rooms overlooking the courtyard and 2 lovely Suites in The Windmill itself; the Balcony Suite, for adventurous adults with a head for heights, and the lower Windmill Madeline Suite which is more spacious. We also have two single storey cottages in the courtyard, one cater for up to 5 people and the other for 4 people.
