I recently visited this hotel with my boyfriend for a few days away. It was a lovely expierence. There was a beautiful view overlooking the sea and boardwalk from our room and the service was very helpful. The pool was refreshing along with the dry sauna. It is only minutes away from the town centre and it is a lovely...

The location is excellent as it is just across the road from the Italian gardens. Beautiful walk down to the promenade and if walking is a problem there is a lift! Fishpan restaurant in the town is the best place to have fish and chips. Lifeboat association is interesting to visit. They are building a new lifeboat house! Bus service...

Amazing, tranquil part of town with brilliant views of the South Bay. Great breakfast and close enough to the town but without any of the noise or people milling around. Reasonably priced and will definitely be back in the future - thank you!

The rooms and clean and modern but overpriced, the standard is that of a premier inn and should only be in the £60 price range. Friendly staff and good food, good vegetarian choices. Excellent spa and pool.

Can't fault the staff here. ...In hindsight should have paid a little more for a sea view. The breakfast is acceptable and we didn't eat here at night as the menu is basic. On the whole though the rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff can not do enough to help and I would definitely come...

Warning - this hotel puts Fawlty Towers to shame in my view but not in a good way. They have no consideration for children, the evening staff merely grunt when you can find them, the bar is deserted of both staff and residents, they laugh at residents and there is no hint of management input or visibility whatsoever. They played...

We booked the ambassador spa hotel after seeing it on google when looking for a hotel for 1 nights stay in Scarborough, we decided on the ambassador because the room was advertised as a "new double" after the hotel had undergone some refurbishment. Unfortunately our room was not one of these although the price tag suggested otherwise, the main room...

We had a 3 night stay in a sea view room. The room was a good size but the bathroom tiny although it did have a bath. The window was high so you had to stand to see the sea but the view was worth it. The bed was comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities provided. The...

Attending a friend's wedding and booked in here with husband and some friends. Got a good deal price wise £49 for night and wasn't disappointed. Our room on the 2nd floor was really spacious and very comfortable - we even had a bit of a sea view! The bar area was nice and breakfast was included which was a nice...
