Booked this as an alternative to the chain hotels based on other trip advisor reviews. Stayed for one night in a family room which had a double bed and full size single bed. It was a little tricky to find even with the sat nav as it was at the end of a row of houses. The building is old...

It was like going back in time but the hotel had lots for families to do including the swimming pool. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms clean and bed comfortable. Food not very good for most meals.

The hotel seems very interesting, from the outside. An old hydrotherapy establishment, which has been turned into a hotel, situated out of the way, in between two cramped streets, when it comes to parking. Some of the rooms are used for hostel-like apartments, for large groups of travellers and schools/colleges. The others are very spacious, aside from the bathrooms (I'll...

First let me start by saying that the staff without exception were brilliant. All who dealt with us were courteous, professional, happy and had a nothing is too much trouble attitude. The room was clean, quiet and accessible. Now the reason for the poor rating is I am 45 years old and stayed in places in the seventies with the...

Great little hotel if you're not expecting premier inn style. Nice setting but possibly due to the era it was built there is definitely not enough parking. Everything is very dated and bedding was poor but very clean hotel. Staff were friendly and it's under new management so would stay again if it was revamped. Worse thing was getting the...

This is a very old house so the inside is quite dated but it suits the place to be like this. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere where the staff are so wonderful, they will sort anything out if they can, a very happy bunch. I will return but for a few more days next time.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. We stayed in the self catering apartment and all I can say is WOW!! There was so much room in this apartment. It was light, clean and airy. Everything was provided including towels, and simple things like cleaning products and cloths. The staff were all friendly, providing lots of information about the hotel and the surrounding area....
