Simply brilliant nosh! Dropped in by chance for a wedding anniversary supper - nothing was too much trouble and we had excellent steak, both fillet and sirloin with "chips" and great trimmings! Back the following day for another super supper - sea bass and a wonderful chicken ceasar salad and local ales. Topped it off today with our final visit...

Enjoyed a really good meal here served by extremely friendly and excellent staff. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Good choices on menu, burgers scored eleven out of ten. Didn't stay but it would be extremely convenient if visiting Highclere Castle.

Popped in for Sunday lunch and even though they were busy they managed to accommodate us for a table for two. Really attractive looking gastro pub, cosy but modern. We ordered a Sunday lunch each, one beef and one chicken, the food came quite quickly and was hot and tasty. However my roast chicken looked a little off putting as...

I am not sure what the Canarvon Arms is trying to be. Is it a true Gastro Pub or a copy of an slightly upper end chain. Trading on Marco Pierre Whites name I did not expect bought in whitebait or bought in chips. All in all did not meet my expectations nothing really bad but nothing really good I...

A nice bar and restaurant area, which became very busy so must be popular. Meal was good and appropriate for the price. Room was good, only comment would be was it became a little cold during the night and we couldn't work out how to turn the heating on.

Stayed here for one night after visiting Highclere Castle. Highclere is only a 5 minute car journey from the hotel and Beacon hill is also very close. The hotel is lovely. Welcoming staff and the room we had was very cute. Small but enough for two people for a night away. The bathroom was modern and the tea and coffee...

4 of us turned up on Easter Monday with no booking and 2 dogs in tow and despite it being quite busy, we were welcomed with open arms. The staff couldn't have been more friendly to us and our dogs. The food was really delicious (we had the pie and the roast beef, followed by crumble and sticky toffee puddings)....
