This was our first time in a hotel at Christmas. We travelled as a party of four with two dogs. Our pets were made to feel very welcome and every thing was done to make our stay memorable. The food was execellent with a great range of choice which far exceeded our expectations. The hotels rooms were spacious and so...

Visited this hotel for 2 different Xmas dinners. One was for 40 people and everybody was so helpful with the arrangements and it was a great evening. The other was a smaller event for elderly ladies, and that was also excellent. Thank you so much to everyone at The Northfield.

We stayed for two nights in a deluxe room and were impressed by the size of the room, the view, the swimming pool, the breakfast and the friendly staff. Would certainly go back there. Not the cheapest, but you are paying that bit extra for the added features and quality of the establishment.

The hotel is decorated in an old fashioned, quaint way. Main customers are in the older age bracket. Small TV in bedroom, large comfortable bed and a couple of small armchairs. Also in the room are 2 bottles of water, fruit and sweets. Claimed to be dog friendly. However judge this for yourself from my experience. On entering the bedroom...

Thank you for taking time to review us, in hind sight you should have read our web site and seen that some of our guest's are more mature so you would not have found the need to mention it in your review! A previous review "Pet friendly with Knobs on" disagrees with you about our dog friendliness! We have our...

I stayed overnight here for a business meeting. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Dinner was okay but not spectacular. Breakfast was nice. The bar area was comfortable and relaxing. If you are staying in Minehead this is worth a look

My wife and I have been staying at the Northfield every year since we first discovered this gem 6 years ago. It is situated in the old, quieter part of Minehead, but within easy reach of the town centre and the seafront. It is a great base for exploring Exmoor and walking the coastal paths. Dinners and breakfasts are excellent...
