Stayed here for a wedding down the road in Whedding Cross. They accommodated our needs and made us feel welcome. Nice rooms. My only negative is that the breakfast finished too early (9.30) would have liked until 10.00, but it was a very good. But this wouldn't stop me staying here again.

A very nice hotel, clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfy. Breakfast the next morning was tasty, a choice of cereals, yoghurt and fruits, fresh juice and hot cooked food too. Would definitely choose stay here again

This is a very well presented hotel. We were met at the door by the owner with a very friendly and welcoming greeting and he ensured that our every need was catered for throughout our two night stay ~ nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was one of the smallest, but still very spacious and well provisioned....

I recently spent one night, on my own, at this hotel. The two hotels I would normally choose were fully-booked and this was my first visit to Alcombe House. Without hesitation, I will now add it to my favourites list! Off-road parking, tastefully decorated, comfortable well-equipped and furnished room with an excellent breakfast sum up this superb establishment. Frank and...

We only stayed for one night but we really appreciated this little gem. From the gorgeous garden to the lovingly chosen furniture, the tasteful decor, yummy breakfast. The owners were polite and welcoming and obviously take pride in their wonderful residence and it shows.

Alcombe House has good spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, and the hotel has a quiet calm environment. Breakfast was well made and served with style, and we would have liked to have dinner too, but we couldn't on this occasion. I hope we can find a good excuse to come again.

Just returned from a weekend break, staying at Alcombe house. Beautiful house, tastefully decorated. I was amazed at some of the ornaments, they would have looked lovely in my home. Everything looked top quality. The room we stayed in had the WOW factor, lovely touches everywhere. Breakfast delicious and well cooked. Frank & Joe had thought of everything, great touches...

The WHOLE family (14) spent a weekend to remember visits many years ago. Owner Frank booked a restaurant on our behalf for our celebration and arranged maxi taxis to get us there and back. He was patient as we took over the lounge as we played party games. Thank You Frank.

As a group of 12 people on a walking holiday we stayed three nights at this hotel and found it very comfortable. The beds were not Victorian but with modern duvets and fitted sheets! The rooms were well heated with fan heaters and they all had en-suite bathrooms. The menu on offer at breakfast was full and varied and Frank...
