Cannot fault anything. Nothing was too much trouble for Rachael & Julian and they included us in everything that was going on, as if we were part of the family. Don't miss out on the evening meal, which was an absolute delight. A true gem of a place.

Can highly recommend this B&B. The lovely Rachael looked after us extremely well during our 2 night stay. Chatty and friendly but not intrusive, she made us feel very welcome. We had an excellent meal on the first evening. Delicious, locally-sourced & well-presented food. Not to mention the freshly baked bread which accompanied it. Likewise breakfast was tasty & filling...

It's just perfect, we stayed in the 'Cricketer's' room which has a huge very comfortble bed and great shower. Breakfast is lavish no scrimping here, served by the lady of the house who is a wealth of knowledge on local places to visit. I would also suggest having an evening meal if available, seriously worth staying in for. Surrounded by...

We had a delightful stay here on Exmoor. We couldn't have asked for more. The evening meal was delicious, and the breakfast just what was needed before taking off on all the wonderful adventures around. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious and gave us out much needed rest. We will be going back.

A perfect B&B. Bang in the middle of Exmoor on a farm, but only a few hundred meters from the great Wheddon Cross pub (The Rest & Be Thankful). Great hosts, helpful without being intrusive. Good rooms and really great bacon and sausage for breakfast.

We have just spent our second winter ‘Lucky Deal’ 3 night break at North Wheddon Farm, and the impressions we formed on our visit last year still hold - - - welcoming and homely, set in a pretty location and offering excellent value. Rachael and Julian are great hosts serving delicious food using their own, or locally produced ingredients. We...

Great secluded location, warm welcome and great food (breakfast and dinner were included in our 'lucky deal' which was incredible value). If you are looking for a break away from it all and enjoy the outdoors this would be ideal.

We really enjoyed the 4 days on the family run farm (which is only for their supply) with bleating sheep, a warm welcome by Rachel, delicious dinners at the fireplace with a view into the garden and a white range of organic products on the menue, even for breakfast. The four poster room was fine although it looked more spatious...

This B&B was recommended to me by family and they were "spot on". I had a friend visiting from Australia and I was looking for a small & friendly B&B well situated to explore Exmoor and surrounds. Before we even arrived we received a comprehensive electronic welcome pack via email which addressed all my queries. We stayed in Eden Lodge which...

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at north Wheddon Farm. Rachael and Julian are very welcoming, the location is fantastically away from it all, Eden lodge where we stayed was very well appointed and it was great to see the range of farm animals. The excellent pub is only 5 minutes walk away and the night sky very clear....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
North Wheddon Farm is an ideal base to access the Exmoor and Devon area with it's fantastic beaches and stunning scenery just minutes way. We offer superb bed and breakfast accommodation within the farmhouse. In the grounds of the farm we have two self-catering properties, the Farthingwood Barn and the Eden Lodge. Here at North Wheddon we love to cook and are proud of our reputation. Food is very much 'River Cottage' style. If we can not grow it or raise it here on the farm, you can be sure it is locally sourced and the very best of quality. From home smoked bacon to our own Aga baked breads you won't go hungry. ... more   less
