Very noisy guests. We got very little sleep. We when reported to the receptionist we were promised a voucher for a 50% refund. She was going to email this to us. We have yet to receive the voucher. I suppose budget hotels attract late night clubbers. So I suppose sleep is not at the top of their agenda.

Usual Travelodge hotel - all clean and tidy, and beds comfortable enough, but the location isn't very convenient (unless visiting the football stadium, which I wasn't) and quite a walk (or bus ride) from the station / town centre.

I travel regularly to Huddersfield on business and need to stay overnight. This hotel is fine for an overnight stay. Public areas and rooms clean and inviting. Beds very comfortable and good shower in ensuite. A reasonable walk or taxi ride from the station. No kitchen facilities so no good if you want cooked food, but there are good options... More

I stayed for one night and really thought that the staff were very professional... Gemma your customer service skills were 2nd to none, going above and beyond what is normally accepted. I would definately recommend and stay at this hotel again.

Great location to train station...10 minute walk away. Resturant and coffee shop located in the same location. Room clean and tidy and quiet, considering we stayed on a Saturday night. Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful.

No frills Travelodge - part of the excellent budget chain, free parking at this one, but take away breakfast only. Clean, simple, quiet. Very near John Smiths stadium if that matters to you, but as there was no game on when we stayed I don't know if it gets busy then

does the job perfectly, clean room, coffee/tea making facilities, hot water and big bed, what else do you need? :-) good value for money. although you have to pay for Wifi (£3 for 24hours) very handy if you came to see the game at John's Smith stadium (its less than 10min walk from it) also provides free parking.

if you are attending a game at the john smiths stadium like myself and partner did at the time, I would recommend the Travelodge as it is only a short walk from the stadium :) we were warmly welcomed. the only thing that put it down was that there was no restaurant for breakfast. the only reason I marked it... We had a family room for ourselves and two grandchildren aged 5 and 8. The room was very good value with adequate facilities, comfortable beds and, as always, welcoming , friendly and helpful staff. Good location for access to town.
