We had to use this place while working in the area very poor and tired place ..old travelodge was given a twin room but you only get one key was on first floor they said was a quiet room..but over looked the main road and a works compond so as we was working nights it ended up a noisy room...

The good: It's cheap, it's right next to a petrol station and a Co-op, there's free on-site parking and the staff are friendly. The bed is comfy and the bedroom itself was clean, the TV worked, and there's a kettle and microwave. The bad (but fixable): It's looking a bit tired. It's a rebranded former travelodge, rebranded by just putting...

I booked this hotel for location and price. It is a basic hotel but fine for a night or two. The decor is tired and the bathrooms need some work, this is reflected in the price. But, I can honestly say I have never had a warmer welcome anywhere. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with reception manned 24hrs....

Stayed here for 2 days due to a family wedding. Although the place was clean and tidy, the rooms as paint and wall paper peeling from the walls. The bathroom floor was coming up and the plug hole in the bath was rusty and still had hair in. The hot tap on the sink would not turn fully off so...

Stayed one night with my wife and daughter and her husband as attending a local wedding rooms 214 & 215. I know it was pretty cost effective at £37 per rooms and we spent less than 9 hours at the accommodation...but all I can say was it was GRIM. A bath with a mass of aged mould ridden sealer around...

We stayed for one night only. The hotel room is spacious and presentable. Has a large wide screen tx on the wall and coffee making facilities. The room was warm and comfortable. I could wander around and highlight little issues but you get what you pay for and this is pretty good for the price.

Stayed here for 6 nights as we needed to be in the area. The hotel is maybe a little tired and in need of a bit of tlc BUT, having said that, it was very reasonably priced, the room was clean and comfortable and (unusual for any hotel in my experience) the towels were fabulous - a good size and...

For a budget hotel, I was amazed at the standard of the rooms. Each room was a decent size with a decent sized bathroom. The room also had a sofa/sofa bed, a flat screen TV, a large desk, along with a microwave and a fridge. The staff at the hotel were lovely friendly and welcoming. The only negative I could...

The satnav did lead me to the opposite site. To get there it is not the nicest part for a lady, but fine. The room was very clean, warm and quited and I had a lovely night sleep. Unfortunately there was no restaurant nearby either the Hotel had a bar. Allover for 1 night it is ok.

I was in Huddersfield for 2 weeks for personal reasons and needed somewhere to stay with my Assistance dog. I chose Metro Inns as other hotels in the area, which accepted dogs, were more expensive and I was on a tight budget. I was greeted by Christian, who was very helpful and, as I am deaf, was very careful to...
