Great service, close to the water and lovely comfortable and spotless room. The breakfast was delicious and the added extras of complimentary wine and cake kept both adults and children happy. Will come again .

Great, friendly service throughout. Breakfast choice was as flexible as can be - my wife loved the muesli mix and I loved the fact that I could order anything I wanted for breakfast - within reasonable constraints - and would always receive a beautifully cooked dish. Didn't have the time to visit with the grandchildren this time but they've loved... More

A large Victorian town house in private ownership, 'done up' in contemporary materials. Double room overlooking the street so car was visible (street parking). Thorough guided tour on arrival and all staff extremely courteous and efficient. Some nice touches included good new towels, home-baked bread, excellent fried breakfast, complementary wine, cake, coffee and tea in the afternoon and evening. Sweet... More

Spent 1 night here recently and whilst the hotel is pleasant enough, its not in the 5* league. The staff are all lovely and very helpful, particularly Hannah. The communal areas are spacious and nicely decorated with plenty of seating. The free drink on arrival was a nice touch and fresh cake is available if that's your thing. Our room,... More

We have stayed here twice now and would continue to recommend it. I do think that things have slipped a bit since our first visit, however. The main pluses are the comfort of the rooms, and the complimentary cake and wine /beer. Minuses - we were on the top floor so had to drag our cases up 3 flights of... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights, it is a lovely hotel, excellent rooms, very clean, very well decorated, with a lovely court yard area to sit out in when the weather is good. Great choice for breakfast, and a lovely hospitality area where you can help yourself to either a hot drink of tea and coffee, or a... More

Very good place to stay in Folkestone, close to promenade. We were made to feel welcome right from check in and the complimentary beer/wine is a great idea, especially after long trip from Germany. The rooms are well furnished, clean and airy. The cooked breakfast was great, with a selection of cold food supplied as well. There is coffee/tea facilities... More

Stopped over for a night with my wife before getting the euro tunnel the next morning. Traveled down from Newcastle to be nicely greated & shown around, the complimentry cake & drinks is a lovely touch! Room was nicely decorated & well kitted out. Nice selection for breakfast the following morning which completed a nice stay. Will recommend to family... More

I stayed at the 'Relish' for one night on business and had a wonderful experience! The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very welcoming and I would recommend others to have the experience! Lovely setting, with a beautiful little garden and a minute's walk from the coast. There was the choice of a complimentary glass of wine and home-made cake,... More
