Just enjoyed a gorgeous Sunday roast. Pork, veg, roasties, Yorkshire pudding and loads of lovely gravy. I have tried the Thai food and pizza from the Royal too and it is lush. So grateful that we have this available as I am proper sick of cooking.

My husband and I, along with our dog, stayed at The Royal Dunkeld for 2 nights at the beginning of January in order to view a house for sale some distance from our current home. From the first telephone contact to book until the day we checked out the service provided was outstanding. Paul, the Assistant Manager, could not do enough for us, and really made us feel welcome, during difficult times. The hotel is currently undergoing some refurbishments and we were given a newly refurbed room which was just lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the new decor very tasteful. We had breakfast both mornings and I can honestly say it was the best cooked breakfast I can remember having (and I used to own and run a B&B)!! We have subsequently purchased the home we went to view and have immediately booked back into The Royal Dunkeld, while we wait for our furniture to arrive from our old home. We are both looking forward to returning and am sure this gem of a place will be a welcome retreat whilst we get moved into our new home!!

We stayed 5/11/20 . The food was exceptional. The service and staff were very friendly. We will be back. Dunkeld is a beautiful country town . Lovely walks by the Tay. The decor is now somewhat dated in the bedrooms.

Spent one night at the Royal Dunkeld Hotel and we will be back when in this neck of the woods. From the minute we walked in the door at reception, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and check out we had the most warmest welcome. The room was lovely and clean, beds sooo comfy and complimentary handwash and shower gel. Food was very tasty and we were able to enjoy a few drinks in the large beer garden. Covid safety procedures all in place which made us feel confident being there. Comfort at a great price, thank you to all the staff!
