We stayed at Ballyglass early January , how lucky we were to stumble upon this place with the delightful Byrne family. We arrived unwell and did not want to head back to a pharmacy so waiting for us on our arrival they had the medicine kit ready and dosed us up for the night after a great meal by the fire...

The location was great for us. The rooms were very small and the place is not updated. The bathrooms were tiny but that's to be expected. Besides all that (which didn't concern any of us) the people were great, the food was great and the pub was super cool.

Ballyglass Country House has been one of our favorite places in Ireland. The beautiful 1700's country home is impeccably kept by the Byrne family. The Byrne's daughter Ruth and her husband Liam welcomed us with coffee and tea in their beautiful lounge. Ruth was incredibly helpful in providing us information about the nearby trails in Glen of Aherlow, as well...

We were travelling around Ireland in a classic hire car and stopping en-route. We found this hotel hidden away in the beautiful country side with spectacular views and hairpin bends etc. The hotel is run by a family who all work very hard and are warm and friendly people. It was a pleasure to meet them and stay the night....

The Ballyglass B&B is a nice, quaint hotel near the town of Tipperary. It is located a bit away from the town center so it is the ideal place if you want peace and quiet and a wonderful time surrounded by the sounds of nature. Simply fantastic. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived before the check in...

We were looking for a place to stay for one night while touring around Ireland. Using Tripadvisor I came across Ballyglass Country House just outside Tipperary. To start with, I was able to book online which made it very easy. The cost of the rooms was quite reasonable so we decided to give it a go. We're so glad we...

On our way to the JFK Homestead Visitor Centre in Dunganstown, Co. Wexford which is only excellent and I would most certainly recommend a visit to everyone. We always look forward to going to Ballyglass House Hotel for the warm welcome we receive and the excellent choice of food which is top class. We have a full and hearty breakfast...

We enjoyed our stay here, the house is beautiful. Our welcome was warm, but our room a little chilly on arrival. The room was comfortable, the bathroom immaculate and the bedding was warm. The Forge hotel attached to the house was lovely, a warm fire and small bar very inviting. Would have been nice to maybe open a little earlier...
