I must admit I don't normally take the time to leave reviews, but we had such a lovely time in Hay staying at the Bridge. Johnny was a great host and very accommodating. The room (basement) was clean, bright and spacious and everything you could possibly need had been catered for. Hay is a lovely place to visit and the trip...

The Bridge in Hay is a real Georgian gem, offering pleasant, very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation in a beautiful Georgian house which directly overlooks the River Wye. Johnnie and Catherine, our friendly and welcoming hosts could not do enough for us, not on serving legendary breakfasts, but also providing a mine of information on the local area, even offering...

It was my turn to organise the annual girls walking holiday this year and it was vital I got it right. Johnny was an excellent host, advising us on where to walk over our hearty, cooked breakfasts, also providing a healthy option of yoghurts, berries and granolas and the best coffee in town! Maps and books were provided as was...

What another fab find The Bridge is! Just spent two nights here exploring the delights of Hay and the Brecon Beacons. Johnny is a marvellous host; our greeting could not have been warmer. Our room on the first floor was large, light and airy and the bed was enormous and very comfortable. The decoration of the bedroom and ensuite bathroom...

Had a fantastic few days in this idyllic country town, staying at The Bridge in Hay was quite essentially home from home, spacious and comfortable rooms with delicious breakfasts. Hosts Jonny and Catherine could not do enough for us, they made our short stay such a delight, recommending place to walk, visit and most importantly where to eat. Could not...

A Georgian house in a beautiful setting, right by the bridge over the river. On its left is a bucolic landscape suitable for hiking and nature exploration; on the right is the heart of the town center, with its many bookshops, souvenir purveyors, restaurants and pubs. The house itself is comfortable and relaxed. The hosts are hospitable, and knowledgeable about...

I parked by the river and Jonny Kramer and his wife greeted me warmly and showed me to my room for the next few days. It was on the second floor with a great view over the river and all the basic facilities. It was my first cheap digs and it looked pretty comfortable to me. throughout my stay of...

Such a beautiful house in a stunning location! The bedroom was lovely and homely. Incredibly peaceful after a long day's work. Johnny was an incredible host and extended 5 star hospitality from arrival to departure. Excellent breakfast too! Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely B&B and if we go back to Hay we wouldn't go anywhere else. Relaxed, friendly host, very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast - couldn't ask for more! In the town center, right on the river - a great spot. There is free parking a very short walk from the house.
