Recently stopped at Corbar Bank for the 3rd or 4th time. We absolutely love it there. Without a shadow of a doubt, it is our favourite B&B that we've ever stayed at. Lovely big room with a seating area and kitchen facilities, great shower, very quiet and peaceful and close enough to town to walk in. Tess is always lovely...

I have stayed at Corbar Bank before on my own but this time I went with my husband for Valentine's weekend. We were so pleased that the weekend was free when we booked. The space is great and Tess gave us the most gorgeous welcome and had decorated the kitchen with hearts and had baked brownies too. The room was...

Just back from a lovely holiday in Buxton. This stylish apartment, with all your home comforts, made a great base for us as we visited family and explored the surrounding area. Ideally placed for accessing the town centre with only a short walk, yet far enough away to be tranquil and peaceful. Tess is a lovely host and we were...

This is the best place we have stayed in Buxton by a mile. Super hosts, super space and very very quiet. Great having the kitchen facilities (complete with home baking awaiting us) and parking. It's also a short walk into the gardens and shopping street. Wish we had found it years ago!

We have stayed at lots of B&Bs over the years and this is the only one I have ever bothered to write a review for. And this is because this one is absolutely perfect - great layout, attractive, very clean, thoughtful extras, welcoming & friendly people. Totally faultless in every way. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We stayed at Corbar bank for a weekend. Tess was an amazing hostess and the little touches such as homemade biscuits, milk and fresh flowers really make you feel at home. Corbar bank offers a studio apartment for rent as B&B or self catering. The apartment is clean and well maintained - We self catered and all the cooking facilities...

All that has been said before is true. This is an extremely comfortable studio and suited our needs. We stayed for three nights and found the location a great base to explore Buxton and the surrounding area. Tess was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The fresh fruit and home mixed muesli were a great start to each day and all...

This is a superb base from which to explore the area. It's a large studio in a pleasant, quiet area, very well equipped and possessing wonderfully friendly owners who could not be more hospitable. Although there is a breakfast option we decided to self cater and found, to our amazement, that tea, coffee, milk, and other tasty treats came as...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our idea for this type of accommodation came from staying in great B and Bs, but not always having wanted to go out for lunch or dinner or being tied into having breakfast every day. So, we provide our guests with a luxurious and spacious apartment with all the personal touches and attention to detail that you would expect in a luxury B and B with a choice to self cater if you chose. As our accommodation is on the first floor, access for disabled visitors may be difficult but please discuss your accessibility needs with us and we will do our very best to assist you. ... more   less
