We stayed in the family room at Hawthorn farm along with our two dogs. The owners were friendly and helpful and even allowed us to park our 7.5 tonne horsebox overnight. The B&B is only ten minutes or so walk from the centre of Buxton and also close to one end of the Monsal trail - a great walk/cycle/horseride along... More

A quaint old farmhouse converted to B&B which was full of character. The owners (and pets) were very welcoming. A very wholesome breakfast is served in the morning. We stayed in the family room which was spacious and adequate for our needs. Easy access to various local areas of interest. Tip: If you are staying at the farm and coming... More

We are a family of 4 and we stayed at Hawthorn Farm for 1 night in the family room which is situated in the main house. Our room was a great size and very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and it felt lovely and homely. The B&B is set back from the main road so it's nice... More

6 of us stayed in the cottage with our dog and it is really nice. Built in the 1500's with modern amenities but still has the charm of an old farm house. Very comfortable beds with ensuing bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. Close to shops and pubs. I highly recommend this place for a vacation.

The accommodation is only a 20 minute walk from the centre of Buxton. The accommodation is very clean with the usual tea/coffee making facilities. Our ensuite bathroom had a powerful shower and was all nice and clean. The breakfast served up by Paul and Sarah was superb. Very tasty and well cooked. They are a lovely, friendly, helpful couple who... More

Stayed for just one night, but really lovely and made even better that dogs are welcome. Hosts were fantastic and very helpful, made some great recommendations. Apparently only been there 3 months so we wish them all the best for the future.

We stayed for 2 nights in July, and had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and despite being on a main road very quiet. The hosts were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was great, a full selection of cereals, fruit etc. As well as the full cooked breakfast. It was a very homely... More

I had a one night stay with my best friend and so looking forward to going back! The owners who have only been there three months are so friendly. Considering the farm is on a main road we had a great nights sleep and didn't hear any noise from the road. Breakfast was beautiful. Keep up the good work.
