We have just stayed for 2 consecutive weekend nights with friends after visiting The Opera House, The attention to detail, by the host Alison and Kevin in the running of the Grosvenor is second to none. Ideally situated a stones throw from the Opera House, with a fantastic breakfast served whilst sat in the window of the beautiful dining room...

We had a lovely one night stay on a Saturday night in March after a day's walking in the Peaks. The location is ideal- close to the Opera House and Pavilion Gardens plus various bars and restaurants, yet blessedly quiet at night. The B and B is beautifully decorated and furnished in period style and the rooms we stayed in...

We had a lovely 3 day stay at the Grosvenor House in Buxton last weekend. Perfect location near to Opera House, restaurants, bars and shops, and for travelling around the area. The rooms were really clean and comfortable (my mother had a single and we had a large double overlooking the Pavilion Gardens), and as for the breakfast ..... superb...

We arrived early around 11 am and just knocked on to park up but were informed that our room was ready. The room itself looked towards the Opera House and over the Park. It was very spacious and clean with a sofa at the window to take in the great view. We slept very well in the comfy bed and...

We spent a few days at Grosvenor House 4 years ago and as it had been so good we returned and we were not disappointed. The new proprietors Alison and Kevin has retained and enhanced the experience of their fine B&B. We could not recommend this place more highly for a comfortable place to stay in Buxton. Thank you Alison...

This is the second time we've visited the guest house, and can recommend this establishment. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, the bedding and towels good quality. We were in room 2 the 1st visit and room 8 the 2nd time. Both are spacious and have views of the park. The house is well situated for exploring Buxton, and...

Me and my wife have been staying in this bed and breakfast for the best part of four years. We come back here regularly for a reason, that reason is that it is simply the best lodgings and accommodation in the town, bar none. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts and the rooms and food is exceptional. We...

Perfect position - overlooking the Pleasure Gardens and away from the traffic - easy parking (on street, but included in the room price), clean and comfortable en suite room, friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast. What's not to like?
