We have just returned from a three night break at Barms Farm. It's a wonderful B&B, lovely big beds, fabulous bathrooms, bedlinen and towels! There is plenty of choice for breakfast which is beautifully cooked by Lorraine. There is a lovely guest lounge with TV if you just want to enjoy the surroundings in the evening. The farm, house and...

Barms Farm is a great place to explore the Peak District. We have had lovely stay and Lorraine, our host has been very kind and hospitable. The room was clean and well equipped and the location was very peaceful and quiet. Also amenities like a refrigerator and a washing machine were present. The breakfast was great, so, all in all...

Thank you so much for your kind comments. John and I enjoyed chatting with you both about your Dutch native sheep breeds and the Zwartble flock we run. "Zwart" = black & "ble" = blaze. Hope to see you again if you return to the Peak District in the future.

Me and my husband had the best time staying at Lorraine's lovely B&B. Everything has been thought of! The room was immaculate, breakfast outstanding and every small detail was considered. Lorraine had remembered little preferences from the first day and had catered to any need we have. The views are stunning also, and it is easy to find and well...

Barms Farm B&B is immaculate! Lorraine runs a lovely property with large beautiful bedrooms. Excellent breakfasts and spacious guest lounge. All very well organised - even dried our very wet walking clothes. Very close to Buxton but far enough to be very quiet. Perfect few days of walking and Festival

We had a lovely stay at Barm's Farm this July. Lorraine, our host, couldn't have been nicer and was full of stories and recommendations for restaurants and outings. Our room was completely updated and modern, comfortable and extremely clean, and the breakfasts delicious. The location 1 mile out of Buxton was very convenient. We would not hesitate to recommend to...

This is such a beautiful property to spend time in while exploring Derbyshire. Every care has been taken by Lorraine to welcome guests, from a hot drink on arrival in the guest lounge to the comfiest night's sleep in peaceful surroundings. We will of course be heading back there next time we visit Buxton. Thank you to Lorraine and John.

We couldn't have wished for a warmer welcome when we arrived at Barms Farm. Lorraine gave us a quick but information packed tour of the house and surrounding areas with plenty of recommendations on places to eat out. She then provided us with tea, coffee and delicious cookies to help us settle in. Our room was set at the rear...

Set just outside of Buxton this beautiful B&B is located next to a Golf Course, it has its own driving range set in the grounds which is run by the family, so if you like your golf this is a definite bonus, I didn't on this occasion make use of this facility as I was with my good lady, and...
