Our room was very comfortable, well equipped and luxuriously decorated. Our hosts we welcoming and professional. We only stayed one night but would definitely return when next in the area. Ideal venue for exploring the Peak District.

What a lovely house. Usually guest houses of this age are a bit run down and need some some care, not this one, beautifully decorated, nice room, nice bed, (no alarm clock) thank god for my phone. Wi-Fi. Tea's and coffee in the room. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here..

Very comfortable little hotel in the quite area close to the center. Very cozy with comfortable beds and the most important that everything is so neat and very clean. Hosts are great and helpful in every situation. Me and my daugter enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to everyone. Great stay in lovely house.

This is the second occasion that I have stayed at 9 Green Lane. On both occasions the hosts were friendly and helpful. My most recent visit saw me book single accommodation. Whilst clean and comfortable I did find the room a little cramped and would defiantly pay that little bit extra to stay in one of their excellent double rooms... More

We were greeted by Caroline and made to feel very welcome. Immaculate room, comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was delicious. A choice of cereal, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, full English, Smoked salmon and egg and on top of that their home made bread and home made jams. The accommodation was a 10 minute stroll... More

The room's en-suite arrangement was good, separate shower room from sink and toilet. Personally I found the bed too firm and a little uncomfortable, but my husband thought it was fine. There was a good supply of tea & coffee, milk, hot chocolate, biscuits etc.in the room and a fridge on the first floor landing. Breakfast's are good, with homemade... More

Lovely accommodation. Breakfast was excellent with lots of homemade jams and preserves but the nicest thing was the PERSONAL service by the hosts/ owners Carolyn and Rupert. Highly recommended within walking distance of town and plenty of off- street parking.

We stayed in this B&B when visiting the Peak District for 2 nights. The location is good, just a 10 minutes walk into town. The rooms are nice in size, but the beds are small, 1.40m. Also the walls are quite thin so not recommended for light sleepers. Breakfast was good, and the owners friendly!

I stayed for one night with some friends last Wednesday whilst attending a two day course at the Donkey sanctuary. I had a very comfortable stay, great room and really lovely breakfast. We were given good advice on where to eat and where to get lunch the next day, very helpful hosts ( not forgetting the friendly cat who also... More
