The proprietors were very warm and friendly and most helpful and the breakfast was excellent. There was such a large range to choose from. Will...

I stayed for 2 nights with my husband, mother, and 2-year-old son, and we were all very satisfied. The location is convenient for the Buxton attractions and the rooms are lovely and spacious. We really enjoyed the generous breakfast. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. I particularly appreciated the extras for my son: high chair, travel cot and a...

The proprietress was absolutely delightful, just what one expects from a fine B&B. The location of The Old Manse is ideal for any town center event. We walked...

Room was well appointed with little details such as real milk in a thermos flask. Bed very comfy and I slept well. Guest House is easy walking distance to centre of Buxton where there are some interesting shops, gardens and theatre. Friendly welcome from hosts and excellent breakfast.

Set in a quiet street but still accessible to the town, the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The view from the front room was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts are very professional - but friendly too. Will definitely return.

Well appointed room and very welcoming and professional hosts. There is even and electric car charging point in the garden, but not sure that its available for guests. Good eateries near by and close enough for a walk along the river to the Opera House
